Last smoke before sleep is Golden Age in a straight 1978 black sandblasted Sir Brent billiard with lucite stem and silver band repair on the shank. Thought I'd end the smoking day with something light and not that sweet. See you folks this afternoon, unless Suzy and Molly wake me up. Hopefully, they'll be happy with the turkey and cheese I just gave them.

Overcast & chilly here. Not much going on this Saturday morning. Parking off with Marlin Flake in a Pietenpauw Bing. A midday nap sounds like a good idea.

Busy, busy, busy..... Helped Levi get downstairs, seems his depth perception is off and he can't negotiate the stairs unless the lighting is just so and rather than he doing the kamikaze throw 92 lbs down the stairs I tell him it's OK and get 4 steps ahead of him whilst holding my left hand over his head and keeping the there so it slides along his back, once past me he's good. Got him out for ablutions, he's now fed and tucked back in. I went out and had a bowl of Carey's Bruno Special Mix in the MM Mizzou with plum Forever Stem and, of course, strong and black in the PRM. Nest up were the chickens at my neighbors who have gone camping with their daughter, son in law and two grand-daughters, got the Girls (new chickens) unlocked in their portable coop then went to put feed in the Ladies (old chickens) coop and released their ramp. Back up to the house and grabbed the keys for my neighbors daughters house to go let Bonnie, their Golden Retriever, out for he ablutions, she was pleased to see me, she has been fed and I made an adjustment to the storm door which mutha told me would not stay closed, the owners will be pleased. Jumped back in the SL500 and returned to PRM #2 and #3 and another bowl, probably Firefly Mix, is on the horizon. Good morning PSFer's.....

well I put some Dunhill Nightcap in my mastro de paja to see how it smokes in this pipe because its very picky about which tobacco goes in it. Well I'm kinda of shocked after lighting and puffing on it for a few minutes, this blend has just blown me away! I'm getting thick, cool smoke with pungent, mushroom like aroma and absolutely no overheating what so ever. I've had this pipe for about 5 years and this is the first time a tobacco has smoked this well, I actually gave the tobacco tad bit more drying time and I'm thoroughly impressed with the results:gjob:

Shortly after I lit the last pipe, sleep overtook me. A few minutes ago our cocker spaniel, Lady, woke me up. It's time for her to eat. So, we got up. She's back in bed now, but I'm still up. I'm drinking black coffee while I've picked up the MM Diplomat loaded with Pfiefen Huber Virginia Honeydew Flake (thanks MDaws79) again.

    Good Morning,
It's an early day for me but I get out early too so it's all good. For the ride into work it's McClelland's Boston 1776 in the Ferndown 3* Bark Dublin with the cumberland style stem and silver band with black
Burundi Kayanza Gatare coffee. I can't seem to get enough of this coffee, it is terrific. It is fabulous with a smoke!

    Happy Saturday Smoking,
    Paul

I don't think he's been on here all week. I'm a little worried too, Paul.

Still PHVHF in the MM D.

My German Shepard used to have depth of perception issues too,
while riding shotgun in my pick up truck he would duck at upcoming overpasses on the highway
( i miss that old grumpy butt biting dog )

I've just lit the last of the Gawith & Hoggarth Dark Flake Scented that I had on hand in the Coveted by MDaws79 Silver Banded Straight Pot Briar Suffolk. When this bowl is gone, it will not be missed.

scratch that, the shank has finally separated from the bowl, RIP. First cob down, best smoker I've had yet. Which glue is safe to use or is there no remedy?
