Well it took me long enough to get here (I made a detour through an Oreo patch with a glass of milk) but I'm finally stuffing and lighting up this bowl of Strang in the big Sav 315EX. Been through the burley phase, am now in the middle of the perique section, soon the Va will come up and tie the whole smoke together.

Geebus!!! If you got the moisture back to normal, that stuff can at times be better than PK. Well done.

After a good steak, I am now settling down with FVF in a Skovgaard 1/4 bent dublin and some Ridgemont Reserve 1792.

Maple street in a MM diplomat, MM legend, and a Pete calabash(baby pipe as my kids call it). This tobacco is just speaking to me today.

Thanks to Ruffinogold, I'm smoking Edgeworth Ready Rubbed in a 2013 medium bend Spillproof corndog cob. More ice water to drink.

D-Backs and Phillies are tied 7-7 in the 12th thanks to another blown save by D-Backs' Heath Bell, Giants lead the Bucs 6-3 in the 7th, and the Angels lead the Mariners 3-1 in the 8th.

That Mid-Day is not bad at all. Dry smoking with a lot of Virginia goodness for such a strong aromatic. That and Stanwell Melange are two of my wife's favorites as far as room note.

However I just had a SWMBO alert due to my homemade concoction: two parts Va. No. 1 to one part Solent. Just 10 minutes into the bowl, my wife emerged from her study and in a very serious tone of voice asked: "What is THAT?" Per Jensen is right: if you're looking to regain your bachelorhood, Syrian latakia will fit the bill quite nicely.

So now it's Davidoff Danish in a straight MM Legend ...

Pirates lost, and the D-Backs and Phillies are tied 7-7 in the 13th. Thanks to PipeSimmo, I'm smoking Motzek #93 in a 1970s medium bend smooth Ben Wade Golden Walnut. And still working, though I'm changing the channel to baseball talk on the XM.

Our hearts are warmed to see this torrid romance finally blossom into a long, stable marriage. Your devotion inspired me to do this ...

Just finished a nice bowl of PK in the Cherrywood cob. Will see whatsome FVF does in the old Canadian. Lemonade till bedtime is now my prime choice in a drink tonight.

Picked it up in East Berlin as a memento ... fit the suitcase much better than a Trabi. Actually it turned out to be a Chatsford teapot (London) with a notch for the special fine-mesh infuser basket.

Now loading some authentic German Strang in a DH. Might be able to sneak in a few puffs before SWMBO dishes up the grub ...
