Slowly but surly I'm putting my Esoterica 8oz blends in jars. Today I jarred some Dunbar up and kept a half pint jar out for smoking. This was my first taste of Dunbar. Loved the tin note. It reminded me of fresh cut wet grass that you wash out from under your lawn mower. Hey, I'm no pipe poet. I call it like this Texan sees it. Very nice fresh smell. Loaded a bowl in a Mario Grandi and after four lights I got her going. Wow, this was a good smoke. Slight peppery taste comming from the Perique. Just all around pure tobacco pleasure. Nic little nic kick too. Getting ready to watch some preseason football and enjoy a nice tumbler full of fresh sweet peach iced tea. Love trying new blends especially when their as good as this. If I mis-spelled any words, I'll blame it on the nic. Enjoy this fine fine day!

Afternoon PSF. For a very slight change, its GH Kendal Flake in the Tinksy 1 Star, Sunrise finished Xmas 2012 pipe. An impertinent red wine on the side.

Happy Birthday Hofnar, and wishing you many more

I'm smoking Rekamepip's August Blend in a 2013 slight bend grain blasted briar Rekamepip Volcano with a walnut shank. This is the last of the AB, but I still have some of the pressed AB, so I'm cool for a little bit. Braves still lead the Cards 3-0 in the 6th, Yankees and Rays are tied 2-2 in the 6th, and O's lead the A's 7-1 in the 6th.

Just wait, Sid, whenever I log off in the night, I provide a short weather station report (except yesterday when the f***ing hardware wanted to make me believe that we are in the middle of winter already.

Yankees and Rays are tied 2-2 in the 10th, Braves lead the Cards 5-2 on the 9th, and the Bucs and Giants are scoreless in the 3rd. I'm smoking Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 1982 black sandblasted paneled slight bend Savinelli flat bottom sitter, so don't get tough, see? Or else, see? Si!!

Stokkebye Cube Cut in a bent MM Legend ...

This tobacco can be seriously flame retardant, so I put it on the lamp for 5 minutes. No problem now. It's simmering away beautifully.

This is a good mild codger burley with a seriously good snork. That Virginia in there makes all the difference.
