I haven't said anything since I didn't want to jinx it, but I've been waiting on a phone call all morning to tell me whether I got a new job. I just got the call and not only did I get the job, they're actually starting me at a higher pay rate than I asked for.

So to celebrate, I'm going to fire up a bowl full of 2005 Escudo that FnB sent me in my 2013 PSF POY. Good morning everybody.

Many Phillies players from the 1993 World Series era were on the drugs. Most people knew it. And many of the players are now getting brain cancer. From the 1980 era, Tug McGraw died from it. That is a sign they were on the stuff. Kruk's cancer was below the belt Hmmm?! Kruk certainly knows the names!

Bastardo being named really surprised me. So much so I only had one pipe last night: MB Honey & Chocolate. Tried to smoke CH, but just couldn't enjoy it.

After being away from EMP for half a year, I'm having a learning curve. I normally like 2 pre-work pipes. As I work back into EMP, I had better stick to one pipe! With the Russian tea on the side, my body can't handle all of the stimulation! EMP in a mm CG this morning was enough. Although I was really craving MB H & C.

The Maple Tank finally ran out of burley to burn, so now I get to smoke HU Dockworker (thanks, Simmo!) in my Squatch prince.

Waiting for today's training to start. Had some Sunset Breeze in the Pete 305 and a little bowl of Walnut in a small no-name meer billiard with coffee and breakfast. Burned some OJK in the Patriot w/Forever stem driving in. Have a great day!

Nursing the very beginnings of a sore throat. My suspicion on the source is there are a couple of women in the household that keep the thermostat set somewhere between "Cold Storage" and "Meat Locker." I'm thinkin' a smoke and some coffee are just what the doctor ordered. :D

Louisiana Red in a 21012 POY to start my day -- with coffee.

It's actually a different one. I'd been working 6 14 hour days while I was waiting to hear about this one. They called me in last week, so I quit my other job. The boss lady was not happy at my being gone all the time and I never had time to hang around here! That's why I've been around so much more the last few days.

Congrats on the new job, Stick!

Up early to help m'lady get a few things organized. So while I'm up, I'm smoking Angler's Dream in a smooth 1998 Parker 489 three quarter bend Billiard. Suzy and Molly are supervising, which means they are asleep in the bed.

Not much time to dilly dally today. There is plenty of work to get done, but I am starting with some coffee in a cup and Sugar Barrel in a DGE nosewarmer cob.
