Watch out for those barking spiders when you're rummaging through your stash! Cherry Smash has completed think the next smoke will be a sample of Just for him's Treebeard I got at the pipe club meeting on Tuesday.

Is that the sort of reputation we have earned around here!? Smoke one pouch of moldy granger and you never here the end of it!
But yeah seriously....I'll smoke that pipe.

Ironic, you are here, and I'll be away for a week - maybe next time.

There is nothing better than an unexpected gift. I got home today to find a grocery bag hanging from my mailbox. The box in the bag had a return address of Helsinki.

It seems friend Waino has telepathic powers. When I was at camp last year, I smoked, almost exclusively, from a tin of Haddock that I had received from him shortly before my departure. As I head down this time, I'll be taking a new tin of that lovely and terribly hard to get blend, along with a couple of new to me, but endorsed by Waino blends.

The camaraderie and generosity I've found here never ceases to amaze me. Thank you, you crazy Finn, you have made my vacation great before I even leave.

    Rum Flake, in a Castello.

It's been a banner month, bowls of B Sasieni, 965, Kendal Flake, and Charring Cross. The 965 and Charring X are done!

Just finished up a bowl of Scotch Flake. Been using the fold and stuff method on flakes recently and it works great!

Well after a sterling suppah of smoked salmon, with dill and cream cheese made into a rustic spread which we had over toasted Everything Bagels and fresh garden cucumber slices, I had a very nice bowl of Treebeard in the MM Mizzou with plum Forever Stem. :D

Now, I'm smoking St. James Flake in an old Barling straight Exel 249 Fossil T.V.F. black billiard with a silver band and military bit. Dinner's running late, but I don't mind so long as I can smoke.
