I have not tried the original Frog, so can't really compare them. I just know Red Odessa didn't knock my socks off when I first tried it ... but then I noticed I kept reaching for it for my first pipe because it tastes good with coffee.

Now, it's John Patton Virginia Squire in a 1979 pebble relief Verona Corallo 3080 natural Oom Paul. Light taste with a light white burley note. Smooth as silk to smoke.

I kinda like turkish because it gives whatever blend a sort of nutty hint to it. Is that the case in Red Odessa?
I could probably slip into my B&M and get 2oz of each component & not be too far off. Sounds good though.
