Falcon Istanbul and some SWR, with a good mug of black coffee (Folgers) to chase it down. Mark (8) and Willy (6) are watching the original Willy Wonka movie and cracking pecans. A friend gave us a big bag of pecans from her grove as a Christmas present, and the kids are having a contest to see who can crack a pecan and extract the biggest piece of nut. Life is good this 12/24/12. Merry Christmas, y'all.

Starting the day late with Dorchester in a 1988 smooth full bend Peterson System Standard XL 315. I've now finished this bag of tobacco, and will give the blend a rest while I smoke other stuff. Isn't it great to have so many choices of good tobacco to smoke?

A blend for every mood! Hmmm, I'm halfway down the cobful of Coniston, so I need to figure what I'll be in the mood for in about 30-45 minutes.

I think it's just one of those passing infatuations. Nothing to be alarmed about - he did recently retire and may just be bored.

I decided at the last minute to just pack some H&H Victorian Stroll into my fruitwood-carved rekamepip "cob". I am eyeballing my stack of open McClelland oriental blends and the beautiful Boswell briar that I reserve for oriental-forward blends ...

Just finished a bowl of CH in a cob with a cup of Earle Grey. Getting ready to fire up some Bear Blend in a Savinelli Luxor 123 sandblast as soon as I can decide what to drink with it. Misty rain has started and heavier showers to come. Glad I am setting in the Florida Room watching instead of out shopping.

Been General snus all day yesterday, and so far today as well. So right now is my first pipe since Saturday night, and it's a good one!

I had to take a little break from the Blind Review thread and reset myself with something I know.

Irish Flake in a Brebbia Jumbo pot.

    Afternoon, all.
