Pa in a cob. Simple and mostly satisfying. After smoking a fair amount of Virginias lately, Burley has an even earthier thing going on.

Half and Half in a cob for the morning. First time with Anni Kake today, in a little Cortina briar. Anni Kake is wonderful in the same way that bread pudding is wonderful. Mmm.

Just finishing Magnum Opus in a Peterson Captain Pete XL80, and will end the evening/morning with Three Friars in a MM Diplomat cob. Btw, I did not enjoy the Crooner much. Will try another bowl some time though.

Up next - FVF in a little Pietenpauw nosewarmer. Beautiful day here. Schools closed for the summer break. Roads are a madhouse. I try to stay off them at this time of year & stay home. It'll quieten down inland here & the coast will be crazy.

Ruins of Isengard in a bent billiard. I'm starting to like latakia blends more than aromatics. This stuff is addicting.

Loaded the fruitwood-carved "cob" from rekamepip with H&H American Heritage and took the dog for a short jaunt in between drizzles.

I'm airing out a 50/50 mix of Carter Hall and Pete Holiday Season 2012 to go in the Cob for the first smoke of the morning. I think the CH will help mellow out the HS2012 and add a more natural Tobacco taste to the background. We shall see...

    Happy Friday, Gents!
