    STM in the GBD poker.

Not hitting the spot at all but certainly pleasant...up next will be some DFU in the Yellobole Dublin. That'll do it.

It's been well over a month since I've smoked this, so I thought I'd go for some G.L. Pease Stratford in the Joh's Bulldog. Awesome!

Also, I gotta say.....despite how absolutely bat%%%% crazy (not to mention stupid) the "history" channel programs are right now.....I'm glued to it tonight. I kind of hate myself for that right now, but that's the way it is.

I remember when they used to do historical documentaries where "aliens did it" was not regarded as an acceptable scenario...

I'm a few minutes away from lighting up a bowl of Three Friars in a smooth briar calabash shaped Butz-Choquin Maitre Pipier JR Fait Main with a horn ferrule, and getting back to work.

A gem of a morning here. Going out to breakfast with my future son-in-law soon. The local cafe (a funky kind of place) does a great farmhouse breakfast which includes lamb chops. Lots of sheep farming here in South Africa. Right now I'm building up steam for the day with a bowl of FVF in a Pietenpauw bulldog.

Lamb chops for breakfast? Sounds like my kind of restaurant. And that pipe is a thing of beauty!

SG 1792 Flake cradling Old Dublin cradling University Flake cradling Escudo in a xxl IMP meerschaum. Well over an hour and the Old Dublin is just starting to make it's presence known. Great evening of music and reading, all accompanied by good pipes, tobacco and a little cognac.

Oh, man, Lamb Chops for breakfast! Unfortunately, I'm the only member of my household that likes them. It's a beautiful thought, Muddler, I hope you enjoy!

Couldn't sleep, so I lit up a bowl of H&H Mohawk River in a 1979 sandblasted medium bend Italian Sir Jeffrey Dublin. I thought it'd be way too sweet, so I picked a seldom used pipe to try it in. Once I dried it out, it tastes better and a little less sweeter. Suzy must like it, too, because when she smelled it, she meowed and jumped up and sat on the arm of my chair. God only knows what she'd do if I was smoking a tuna blend! It's in the same sweet category as Butternut Burley, though they do not taste alike. I'm glad I listened to Russ O. on this.

Never tried Old Master. Do you think Whiskey Cavendish will work? Or MacBaren Virginia #1?
