PA in a weber zulu. Once again, I woke up before my alarm. Way before my alarm...
Usual C&D Red Odessa in the estate JM sig. Rainy and very grey here.
Old Master is a lightly cased burley blend, so the result was still in the burley family. Something like PA or CH would probably get similar results. I was just trying to move the deertongue to the back by mixing it with OM. It also made the OM a little more interesting.
Never had Whiskey Cavendish. I wouldn't have thought to try MacB Va No 1, but now that you mention it, I could see the possibilities. Mix up a bowl's worth of each and see what you think - you never know. Beats tossing out good tobacco. Good luck.
Dunhill London Mixture in a Barling billiard.
GAF-Weber Lovat-more coffee
I'm having another bowl of Gawith Hoggarth Dark Trifecta (my own concoction). I think I may go ahead and mix up a little larger batch, press it down in a jar, and let it marry for awhile. This is darn good.
Edit: I'm into another bowl of this, in a Pete B5 this time. You Lakeheads out there need to try this. It is fine.
Painter Hills in a DGE cob. Short morning walk. -16C(3F)H74%, wind making it feel like -24C(-11F)
I broke with my usual custom and am now smoking a second bowl of H&H Mohawk River in a 1979 sandblasted medium bend Italian Sir Jeffrey Dublin. I almost never smoke the same tobacco twice in a row, and can't even remember the last year I smoked the same pipe two smokes in a row. But I wanted the wife to smell test it. She agreed that it smells really good, though she didn't sit on the arm of my chair like Suzy did. Oh well, nothing ventured, nothing gained.
LTF in a Butz.
After the Red Odessa, I shared a cob of McC #5115 Old World Classic with hubby. Just lit up a MM Legend filled with GH Scotch Flake Aromatic, and as soon as hubby came downstairs he asked what I was smoking now. He could smell it from the other room and calls the room note "a crowd pleaser."
LNF in an Ashton.
Smoking more Burley London Blend in another £15 Blakemar.
Old Companion in a 1983 slight bend part grain etched/part smooth Stanwell Antique 124.
Good morning, Folks!
Coffee, McClelland #27 in a Stanwell "1960" sandblasted Squat-Tomato.
CH in a Grabow Westbrook.
Rattray's Red Rapparee in a cob
Just about to start my afternoon -
Margate in a Pete Lovat
Bayou Morning Flake in a big ol' Pete Dublin.
I have a pawn shop just down the street so I know how they work, and even though I have a lot of the junk that Mike and Frank are looking for they have never been by to see me.
Half and Half in an Ehrlich, coffee on the side.
I liked the historian interviewed on one of those "the aliens built the pyramids" shows who said "the Egyptians did not need help putting stones on top of other stones..............show me a 5000 year old cell phone and you'll have my attention"
Peterson Special Reserve 2012 in ... a Peterson. System 302.
edit: Wow, a couple minutes into smoking this and I've started tasting mushrooms. Neat.
