Usual start to the day: C&D Red Odessa in the estate JM sig. Then I loaded up the fruitwood "cob" from rekamepip (I still LOVE this little pipe!) with H&H Sunjammer to take the doggy out and about. I walk, but he bounds, leaps, cavorts, and struts. I have GH Bob's Chocolate Flake and SG Kendal Cream Deluxe airing in their respective MM cobs, and am about to go dig out the McC 5115 Old World Classic now that Fbones mentioned it.

Last night I remarked to hubby that the only downside to having so many blends I enjoy is choosing which one to smoke sometimes. He had me line the jars up then pulled out a couple D6 dice to roll and "choose" that way. It made for a bit of entertainment for us both. I ended up with GH Brown Flake Scented in my Pony-cob. I almost had him pull out those dice again this morning when he asked me what he should load for the day! He was saved from the dice's whimsy when he checked his email and came across a P&C review request and realized he had either missed a blend or couldn't recall what it tastes like, so out the door he went with McC 2010 Classic Virginia.

Voice juries are finally behind me! I am mostly done singing until after the holidays! It is time to take this new Peterson house system pipe for a spin. I intended to smoke for at least two hours. I filled it with Neminster SNF.

Stuck at work with a smoke break. Had to smoke a cig causde it's 51 degrees outside in Tallahassee, overcast, and the wind is blowing 10 to 15 MPH. If I could rig a sail to my mobility scooter I could save plenty of battery juice. Can't wait to get home and smoke some Bear Blend, chased with brandy to warm up.

Yeah, and don't make me get all poetic about how depressing that is to me, either. This whole warm winter crap is just too much. If this keeps up and we get a second one in a row... well, whatever. All I'm saying is, it's warm enough the other 8 months of the year here, so I could use a little relief, but when you get 75˚F days in December, something's wrong. And no, this is not a global warming post. It is an "I love snow and winter and can we have them now please" post.

Hamborger Veermaster in the Northern Briars. Good stuff, but still not "holy crap" good. Gonna stick with it, though.

Prince Albert in a new MM Ozark I'm working on breaking in. I'm thinking I'd have paid $2-3 more if they could have taken the 20 seconds to sand out the varnish or skip the step altogether.

    Hi,

Krumble Kake in a '68 Root Briar. Much as I badmouth (halfheartedly) Dunhill and the inherent excesses and exaggerations, this is a terrific pipe.

That bowl of Dark Flake scented in this Brebbia First was so sublime last night, I just had to see if I could repeat it. Dark Flake has found a dedicated pipe. It's never been THIS good before.

Now I can't wait to start smoking those 4 mid-grade Italian briars that are wrapped up under the tree.

That old do-gooder busy-body was already gonna leave me a box of coal, anyway. I guess I'll just have to make do with pipes.
