Oh, no, no, no! You really shouldn't do that. I once knew a guy who did. Last we saw of him, he was carted away in a straight jacket and mumblin' something strange like, "Who put the Mixture 79 in my DF tins?" We never did find out what happened to him. Of course, out of concern for the guy, I smoked up the rest of his stash of DF. Not that I ever could figure out how that Mixture 79 got in his pipe, you understand. ;) And I'm willing to help you out the same way, being the upstanding citizen that I am.

Btw, it's only Dorchester I'm smoking in a medium bend 1983 Ascorti New Dear KS.

patron saint of whatever I'm doing when I'm smoking it :puffy:

Right now, for maybe the second or third time since I got it, I'm smoking a BURLEY based blend in my L'Anatra billiard. Old Joe Krantz for a nightcap!

The pipe still hasn't seen any aromatics or latakia or anything....mostly just gets VA and VApers

about to enjoy a bowl of Boswell's Northwoods in a Mario Grandi magnum. It's my go to for the past year and a half. I'm mainly a novice to pipe smoking, still learning a bit about the lingo around here and lurking. Great resource for people like myself who are getting into the hobby. I have really enjoyed the Boswell blends, having cut my teeth on Dunhill's Night Cap and Early Morning. Starting to find myself gravitating to larger pipes. Would appreciate any advice on some tobaccos to try or your experience with larger pipes compared to smaller ones, thanks again. Going to steep some tea while my phone charges and enjoy my pipe outside as I listen to an audiobook.

Old Companion in a 1983 in a slight bend 1984 Stanwell Antique 124 grain etched with a smooth front. Once hydrated (it's rather dry in the tin, but that's not a complaint), it tastes a bit like Prince Albert without the heavy casing.

Morning all. GH Kendal Flake in a Falcon bent / Rustic Apple. Mug of waking up juice AKA Kenco Pure Columbian. Pleasant morning here in Yorkshire - total contrast to yesterday where freezing fog & sheet ice caused havoc.
