About to enjoy the last of my sample of Uhles 00 in a Dip. With some Mill Street Cobblestone Stout (good, not Guinness, but still very good in its own right). There's a certain beauty in the contrast of lighting a cob with an Old Boy :D

A La Gloria Cubana Churchill with my Saturday night bourbon. This will be followed by a pipe of Fairoaks in my trusty no- name bent bulldog.

Busy week here, finally got a chance to catch my breath. I didn't get as many pipes in as I would have liked but I rarely do. :old:

A short break deserves a bowl of the very enjoyable MacBaren Old Dark Fired in a 1970s GBD Prehistoric Rhodesian 9438 with a perspex stem. Thanks to Lithua Pipe for the sample, and as you know, I ordered a few tins yesterday.

You're not missing much. Jameson is okay, but nothing special by a long shot. As for never having met a beer you couldn't get along with, you're lucky...you've obviously never had Earthquake malt liquor......

I'm not smoking. It's cold and wet outside, and I'm at my folks' place for the next few weeks for Christmas. No smoking indoors...

Luckily here in town I can get real snus! General Wintergreen in my lip...none of that Camel b.s. :)

I hope it doesn't rain for days on end, I would be out in the rain with a nose warmer under a hat...

From my time imprisoned in northern IL (not incarcerated imprisonment) I have what was called up there a "snowmobile suit" and what is called here "insulated bibs." Those and a heavy coat work great, shy of my hand always being cold (poor circulation after the accident)

As for what I am smoking, to not veer too far off topic:
A bowl of EMP in a horn-footed one piece cutty started my day, then the aforementioned bowl of Macbaren Navy flake in a Basil Meadows Cob, then a second bowl of MB NF in my beater cob, and a bowl of nightcap in my bent apple briar. I hope to get a bowl of CH in before the night is over, though.
