Morning all from West Yorkshire - damp start, but seems to be brightening up a bit.

Overcast morning that looks like rain over here in the ass end of Africa. This kind of works for me because I'm looking for an excuse not to do some gardening. Right now I'm lying low with a bowl of FVF in a Pietenpauw billiard.

    Good Morning,

The snow that we were expecting today has been replaced by rain.

After 'rasseling the snow blower around for an hour last night, went slumming with a bowl of Captain Black for the wife who likes the aroma, then a bowl of Billy Budd for my Latakia fix. This morning was Squadron Leader, which is quickly becoming a favorite.

Just for JimInks: Yesterday I smoked Bear Blend in my Savinelli Tris #122 slightly bent blasted pot with replacement stem. Don't know how old it is as I bought it as an estate on SP a year or so ago. I know they do not make the Tris line any longer. First time I've smoked BB in this pipe and it gurgled. I'll have to dry the toby more next time, however BB smokes without gurgles in my other pipes regardless of drying time.

This morning I am smoking Half & Half (not Lane) in a Arlington Imperial Custom Delux straight billiard (?). I don't know the date on this one as I purchased it in an antique store about 10 years ago. I'm guessing mid 60's make. I am going to load up a bowl of BB in a Neerup Cherrywood Danish Classic, 2011/12 I received from Miss Daisy for my birthday for later in the morning.

How about some pictures of those fine pipes you describe in such detail? We want pipe porn!

OJK in a MM Spool for the wake-up.

507c for the most part yesterday. Good flake. Tried it as a substitute for HV several months ago and am now almost to the point of considering it a replacement for HV!!

    Good morning all.

Feels good to be done with college for a month. Heading over to the UK in a few days with the woman to visit her family for Christmas.

Very nice! Thanks! I enjoyed reading that. I've been reluctant to use Photobucket because they seemed to want a fair amount of personal info the last time I looked. I wasn't sure how much of that is made public.

The dates of the pipes I smoke are usually the dates I bought them brand new. If they are estates, I either list no date or ballpark the best that I can. In the case of the Dunhills, well, that's generally the easiest company to figure pipe dates. Btw, I like the ones you posted, especially the last one. I have one Savinelli Tris and it's a good smoker, like all my Savinellis.

Woke up early again to feed Suzy and Molly. Suzy is the one who gets impatient and tries to wake us up. So I lit up a bowl of McClelland East Carolina Ribbon in a smooth straight late 1970s Tinderbox Selected Grecian Briar Dublin. Now, still awake, I'm smoking H&H Mohawk River in a 1979 rusticated medium bend Italian Sir Jeffrey Dublin.

Another "morning ritual" smoke here, with C&D Red Odessa with my coffee. Hubby bought a couple of Mr. Brog "Old Army" No. 21 pipes - his is green and mine a yellowish tan. He has already decided on his first blend to stuff in it, while I am about to resort to "eenie meenie minie moe" again. Pics when I feel like fighting with the digicam - yes, I am well aware of how much we all love pics here.
