Finally decided on my oriental parfait: Mix #8 on the bottom, Rose of Latakia in the middle, with Orient 996 on top.

G.L. Pease Kensington, tin stamped for 06, in the Kapet 03.

First smoke from the tin. So far it's proving to be a delightful oriental blend! Probably could replace EMP, but not RRR

Commonwealth in a '76 Dunhill Root Briar. Something about Sam Gawith, man. Those folks really know how to make pipe tobacco.

Wow, that oriental blend parfait seemed to smoke quick ... but it was well over an hour. The beautiful Boswell kickstand briar smoked it down so easy, too. Moving on to McC #2000 Fragrant Mature Cake, in a bent MM Legend. A truly pleasant smoke.

Getting kind of a late start tonight. Just watched Cannery Row with the family - now settling in with a bowl of MacBarens Vanilla Cream in the BST apple, and the Rockford Files.
