The cats woke up the wife, so she fed them. I lent my support by lighting up a bowl of Butternut Burley in a 1979 MM cob and watching it all happen. The things I have to DO around here!
Decided to try something new by mixing Old Companion with MacBaren Virginia #1 in a smooth full bend 1977 Crown Coachman 215. Very tasty. Perks up the MV #1 quite a bit. Thanks to Old Codger for inspiring me to try it.
Mixin' it up a little here. Waking up with some Brown Flake Unscented in a cob. This stuff is delicious.

Good morning to all.
This morning it's a 50/50 mix of CH and OJK in a cob, makes for a sublime smoke.

I'm gonna try this 25/75 CH/OJK right now in a Stanwell.
Lancer Slices for this
Finally getting near the end of this bag of Dorchester, which I'm smoking in a 2002 smooth natural straight silver banded Ardor Venere Extra Fatta A Mano Maigret, signed by Dorelio Rovera. Though I have more in unopened bags, I'll be giving this blend a rest while I smoke other tobaccos for a while.
It's been a couple of days and I started jonesing for it....so Kendal Dark in the Ben Wade billiard

Some SP Cherry Cav in my shop pipe, getting ready to head to work in this balmy weather, lol.
Current Three Nuns tinned version in a 2003 smooth full bend, gold banded 3 Star Ferndown Tudor Root and hot tea to drink.
It's the first day of Christmas break, and a front just passed through. The temp is falling, so I'm in the mood for some Orientals.
Squadron Leader in a Blakemar XL Pot.
Just got power and internet back - high winds here with sirens going off-and-on most of the day so far. Did get my box and have loaded up the Pony-cobs with new tobies: GH Coniston Cut Plug burning now and GH Glengarry Flake next up. Along with a stash of various candles, I also always like to have a couple old-fashioned oil lamps and a lantern around.
I was quite happy to have lots of time to smoke today. I started with some nicely aged Stokkebye Curley Cut in a Peterson blast spigot (106?), followed that Esoterica Blackpool in a Peterson 2012 St Patricks (107), and finished with a mystery cherry blend in a old Peterson Donegal Rocky 264 (I guess it was a very Peterson day!)
