I'm at my in-laws' house for an early Christmas get-together, and I didn't think I would get a chance to smoke. But I brought my trusty Brebbia First and a little Dark Flake scented just in case. Thank goodness I did. Turns out my father-in-law used to smoke a Falcon years ago. If he can find it, he said I can have it. So far, he's looked everywhere he can think of. No dice, yet.

More DF in the KS Dublin. It is chilly for FL today...and the neighbors across the street had the fire pit going and the smoke was blowing in my general direction. Needlsss to say, J did not finish my smoke. I can't seem to catch a break today.

Evening PSF. Settling in with some P&W #191 in a sadly neglected Sav Miele billiard. Red wine on the side and some more Rockford files on Netflix.

Well if you like full English/Balkan blends (and I LOVE them) then this should be right up your alley. I've seen the word "buttery" used to describe this blend & I just don't get it, unless they mean "smooth" which this one is. I love this tobacco. When you get yours, be sure to let us know how you like it.

BTW, I'm smoking it again right now.

got some of that & I got Mississippi River (Seattle pipe club). Never had much experience w. balkans....unless Frog Morton Original or on the town counts as being in that category. Never really understood the difference between oriental & balkan.
English I got down. Navy I know is a loose term. Latakia blends are a sinch....but oriental & balkan are 2 terms I'm kinda fuzzy on. I know what basmaa is I've had Frog Morton original. LOVE it in my meer......so I guess that's my only starting point lavor-wise in the oriental world.....how does Balkan differ?

This morning was a bowl of Kensington in the Kapet 03, this afternoon was a bowl of Kendal Dark in the Astas billiard, and NOW I'm relaxing with a bowl of Kickin' Chicken in the MM Great Dane egg. Nice, spicy, slightly sweet smoke...good stuff :puffy:

I had opened a precious pouch of Balkan Sobranie for my End Of The World smoke. So now I get to finish the pouch. A bowl in an Ashton billiard.
