Alright! Back out the garage for bowl No. 2. I don't remember the proportions of this mix. I mixed it myself the other day. I remember that it contains some LL BLWtB, as well as some Brebbia No. 9. I've loaded some of it into my Yves St. Claude Fantaisie. After this, I think I'll make a Morta Della with cheese on Italian bread for lunch. Puff on! I'm reading the mail.

When I was home in Scotland last month I picked up my first pouch of St Bruno and decided to open it up this evening. Not sure if the tobacco was too wet, I packed it too tight or what, but it was a stinker. When I wasn't puffing like a train to keep it lit, I was getting tongue bite from trying to relight.

I ended up ditching it after dicking about with it for ten minutes.
Don't you just hate it when you get a bowl like that? Frustration isn't exactly what this hobby is supposed to be about.

Just in from a bowl of Escudo in the Sasieni panelled billiard and some coffee. Man, this is a lovely smoke! Thanks for sending it along WalkinStick, I can sure see why you all smoke it so often. Perfect smoke for this cold, snowy day on the Lake.

My work is sent in to the publisher and I'm suddenly feeling a real weight lifted. I still have work but no serious deadlines breathing down my neck over Christmas.

after a few more people order tobacco pipes from my store it will be time again to
get out the tobaccos and do some more blending and taste testing
i am surprised at the number of requests from people i don't know - that ask what brand of tobacco i sent them and where they can buy it.

    back on subject....
loading up a pipe full of telegraph hill ( Thanks to Stormy )
and smoking that right after lunch break !

Just finishing C&D White Burley in a straight 2012 Rekamepip made Sugar Barrel pipe. Time to have some lunch and then get another smoke.

I read somewhere that a pinch of snuff in the bowl can add to the flavor? :msty: So I might have to try that today with some SWRA and Toque. Might be pretty good.

Just ordered some John Bull and an MM bent Pride from P&C. Forgot to order a bent MM General
Looking forward to the John Bull, as it sounds like a nice blend.

Currently smoking some Carter Hall in a MM Washington. :puffy:

Lunch was short and sweet, and I'm now smoking Burley London Blend in a 1998 smooth straight Butz-Choquin Bistro 1501 pot. A can of Mountain Dew is my drink. Lots of work to do today!

Post lunch smoke is gl pease odyssey in my savinelli duca Carlo. I'm out in the truck and even started it to get some heat flowing up in this biotch. It is cold. We actually got an inch of snow this morning and there was none on the forecast that I was aware of. Such is life in the north.
