Good Morning all. Happy Sunday. Smoking an aro from P&C, Mazatec, in an old noname bent billard. Mazatec is a nice va, black cav and lat blend that is dry. Not goopy at all. I can taste the lat and the va equally and it smells great. Lots of PG tips tea to sip on this cold day.
Off to the grocery store with my Calabresi brimming with Pelican. Then we go on a family trip to Ikea to pick up some presents.

Having a second round of Nightcap. Yippee!
I did not get to smoke any pipes yesterday due to the snow storm in MA/NH, but I had the great pleasure of meeting Buistd down at L.J. Peretti's in Boston on Friday afternoon.
What an amazing store. We smoked a couple pipes together while talking about pipes, tobacco, school, sports and everything else under the sun, all while staring and drooling at Dunhills, Castellos, and Comoys. The gentlemen who working at the store were more than willing to talk to us about tobacco blending and other pipe stuff.
I tried Peretti's Burley Slices and the Tashkent. Both were very excellent. The Burley slices seemed to be a straight burley. It tasted very earthy and nutty with a slight, almost coffee-like bitterness to it. Tashkent was my first ever foray into Latakia, and I loved it! I'm not sure if it is just because I was a Boy Scout, but I really liked the campfire-smokey taste. The tobacco was very rich and savory. I purchased an ounce of each.
On top of all of that, Buistd was incredibly kind and gave me a pouch of Condor Long Cut that he had brought with him from England.
Only a dusting of snow from Saturday's expected storm. Just finished my morning pipe of EMP in a mm CG cob.
PS LTF in the OT apple pipe.
