I'm having my last smoke of the night. McClelland's Boston 1776 in a Sav Opera Billiard with English Breakfast tea.

Ok, reading mentors paragraph of melange just made me crave some davidoff Danish mixture. So I just cracked the old tin of it I have. I was planning on doing it soon anyway for some hate mail to someone who I think will love it. It has been awhile since I smoked this one and it still tastes great in my grabow freehand.

I agree. The first couple of bowls that I smoked through my Ozark Hardwood were a bit harsh due to the staining on the inside of the bowl. As MentorBV said, it becomes a very fine smoker once you get a base layer of cake on the inside of the chamber.

Taking a very short work break to feed Suzy and Molly, and refill my glass of ice water. I'm almost finished smoking MacBaren Halberg Green in a straight 1979 MM Legend. Deciding on my next smoke.

I hope to God you stuffed the potatoe this time in the front of your speedos.. If I remember right, 46 years ago you wore it in the behind and everyone ran away.. So how did it go...

Smoking a late bowl of Scottish Cake in a Pete Bulldog with some unsweetened tea. First pipe of the day and I'm really tired but this bowl is medicine to me right now. Good night y'all!

Now smoking Royal Yacht in a 1982 smooth straight Dunhill Root Briar 31051. Going back to work, and listen to more of Bill O'Reilly's audio book Killing Kennedy.

PB and pickle relish is my favorite - and I cannot get anyone to give it a try. Oh well, all the more PB&PR for me.

I was ambushed while getting the primus out of the shed :blah: Shopping :(
but it turned out OK as we went to Settle N. York's via the scenic back roads about 20 miles
to the Booths supermarket who have a garden area with a view of Penyghent
while Mrs Wicker went shopping the Bear set up the Bistro
    [IMG]
with an old Samuel Heath and Sons Birmingham Primus
    [IMG]
I had to rescue the Bear who was getting too hot :shead:by the stove
I was smoking Teddy's York-Shire Tobacco in the Butz Choqin Briar Calabash
    [IMG]
Mrs Wicker landed back just in time to take the photo :th1:
as I went off to check my watch
    [IMG]
the water boiled and the Bear made Lavazza in the French Press
    [IMG]
which went down well as any where with a North or North West aspect was still white with frost.
I don't bother taking the Primus down as I've found a tin which it fits along with the priming meths
    [IMG]
if I'd gone into the hills it would have been the Optimus 98, the billy carries a back up meths burner
stand, windshield and simmer snuff top along with grips, tongs, olive oil and a nutmeg and grater

we called in at Settle Coal and bought a few more sacks of solid fuel for the house stove on the way back
bring on the snow as there's over a ton in the bunker now for the house
hot water and central heating off the front room stove
    [IMG]

Love your stove and tin set up, especially the old primus. I am still using old Optimus 8R in the blue folding box.
