it actually wasn't too bad....stayed cool enough (this pipe burns hot sometimes) and only left me with a little dottle, instead of about half the bowl.

Just finished reading Jiminks' reviews of the Mac B Halberg and Cube lines while smoking some Silver Cube in a Pete 999 w/ coffee. Highly recommended reading for anybody interested in these lines. You'll be hard pressed to find any more informative.

Ready for a little Lat now so I'm going to reach for some Old Dog in a Lat dedicated Pete 307. Two more days then off work through Christmas.

Tibury in the Sav Virginia to start off the evening hours. I just put my daughter to bed and my wife is out with her friends at a movie so I'm planning on spending some quality time on the balcony.

Wild? I am only 3 months in with dreadlocks. The only way to score a draw against a lawnmower. :xd: Anyway, just finished a bowl of Glengarry Flake in a straight "Austin imported briar" pipe.

I have to say, Capstan Blue is growing on me. It's a lot better if only sipped, and kept from getting too hot. The sugars blend nicely. :bing:

That stuff is awesome. Wad a flake up, shred some on top, rock and roll.

I need to order some more, come to think of it.

A nice flake of Capstan Gold is currently on the drying plate waiting for the hook up from a Mark Tinsky Mocha Tomato. That is if I don't fall asleep first. Very busy at work and thats a real good thing but it's cramping my pipe enjoyment time once I get home. Y'all have one of them fine fine evenings!

Smoking more of the Best Brown from santa in a bent Comoy. I've smoked two bent pipes in a week, I'm sure what the means.

Back from "Cheeseburger Night". I had deep fried breaded jumbo shrimp and #1 had toasted cheese on rye w/ double pickles. ( where did I go wrong) About 1.5 years ago I bought 8 oz. of PS English Oriental and found it unsmokable. Today I found it on a lower shelf and bowl four is about to commence in a Bj bulldog. How did it get soooo good?:msty:

It took an hour and half for m'lady and me to jar a bunch of blends, and she still had time to make a terrific chicken dinner. I'm just finishing a bowl of French Quarter in the second pipe I ever bought, a 1974 three quarter bend black sandblast etched Dr. Grabow Omega. Going for a new smoke and a can of Mountain Dew to drink.

I don't know about that, but m'lady is not just a really terrific person, but a true partner. She's always willing to join in on my projects.

Thank you for the kind words, SJ. Much appreciated!
