MacB's Navy Flake in a Sydney P Ram short billiard
Loaded up some W.O. Larsen - Old Fashioned in the Signature billiard
This is a decent enough blend, but it isn't stellar. In terms of flavor and burn characteristics, I'd say it's in the same vein as SWRA. That is, it's got a nice cocoa/caramel/liqueur kinda hodgepodge sort of flavor going on, it smokes easy and dry, and there is no trace of black cavendish. However, while these are positives, SWRA bites less, is easier to find, and is less expensive.
If it were a contest, SWRA would win. Since it isn't, I'll still enjoy this stuff on it's own terms once in a while, but I won't likely buy another tin. Their Signature Vintage is a much better blend.
Still burning brush piles while I can.
