Starting the day with SWR in a cob. Sadly, no coffee until later. The combination of anti-inflammatories and strong coffee in the morning does cruel things to one's stomach. I just slept about 16 hours, so I guess I'm caught up again.

Thanks for all the congratulatory posts, and Eric as we say down here in the South....y'all come! Been out running a few errands ... was all keyed up last night after I realized the importance of getting back to that shop post haste. So, a nap is in order this afternoon.

For now I just had Red Cake in a KW author ... gonna take it real slow delving into the new lot I acquired!

Hit up another local b&m the other day and they had a jar of bulk Balkan. Loaded it up in the Sav this morning. Pretty good stuff.

Attended some festivities last night, watched "It's a Wonderful Life"…..again. Best movie ever made. I tapped a tin of Peterson Connoisseur's Choice yesterday morning to take along with me for the evening w/ a Pete 314. Big hit even with the non-smokers, a few of which came outside just to smell it. One young lady described it as heavenly with which I concur. I did, however, find I've almost totally lost my taste for sodas. A 12 pack of Dr. Pepper 10 will last me two months but the hosts didn't have DP, only Coke, Pepsi and Sprite. A whole bunch of beer and spirits too but I abstained due to having to drive home. Went for the diet Pepsi and Sprite Zero, neither of which I found much to my liking anymore. Was almost Jonesing by the time I got home for a big glass of iced tea and lemon.

62 and raining in Louisville. Going to throw the cattle dog in my old beater Silverado (Dogs really do love trucks) and run some errands this afternoon. The smoking lamp is lit in that vehicle so I'm going to take along some 5100 and one of my MM CGs. Hypothetically speaking, if you nailed me down to one pipe/baccy combo for life this one would probably emerge. Too warm for a fire this weekend but I am going to pick up a few Molson Goldens and a pizza to celebrate. May just camp out in the work barn for a few days.

    Enjoy the day PSFers.

Van Erkoms Fox in a MM Legend...

Been reading up on Carter Hall and I think that Fox could be a cousin, maybe a distant cousin but a cousin none the less. Easy to pack, easy to light and keep lit, and just a great all round uncomplicated everyday smoke. Packing my second bowl for the night right now...

You forget that was not Mr. Wooly, but his third cousin, twice removed, three time inducted, Sherman. Obviously, they don't make good eyes in Brooklyn. Anyway, it seems that your fantasy is being noted by the Saint Bernard, and relayed to Santa for coal considerations.
