If you do you weren't doing it right........
Morley's Best in a rusticated Peterson Kinsale xl14
Now smoking Royal Yacht in a 1982 smooth straight Dunhill Root Briar 31051. Going to clean the dishes while m'lady relaxes after her busy day. Then, I go back to work.
My second bowl of the day will be some HH Vintage Syrian, which just had its tin opened. It's drying now as I watch the Capitals lose.
I will be smoking it in my Old Faithful (a flame-grained, thin-walled straight Upshall).
Mac Baren BLB in a Savinelli. Waiting on my namesake to hit.
Trying out some of the Schippers now. When I first opened this tin the first thought that came to mind was 'barn yard'. Now, I'm smoking some in a MM legend and I get a spicy, black pepper taste.
Tell me - do you like spicy tobacco? I love spicy food, but for some reason I've stayed away from spicy blends whenever I hear the words. To my mind, I want a bowl to be something relaxing and calming, and not forcing me to keep a gallon of water nearby at all times.
Mine starts the 25th, and I drive the family 850 miles on the 26th - whoohoo! Six services between now and then...
Not spicy 'hot' ... think spice 'savory'
McClelland Christmas Cheer in a Radice
Ran more errands this evening as the rain and wind let up. No waiting on the cold air to settle in. Smoking a bowl of Margate in a big Mario Grandi Egg trying out some Paul Masson Brandy. Went to Mass this evening so no early Sunday morning get up for me. Plan on having a few more bowls this evening before I call it. Has anybody seen Mr. Fish? Hope everything is ok....
Here's the Mac Baren's Latakia Blend from today's haul ... Reminds me of a candy we used to get when I was a kid. I think it was squirrel nut zippers.
Yeah, it's held it flavor! You may also get a cigar note or two as well.
I was wondering about that, too.
I'm a few minutes away from smoking Rolando's Own in a smooth full bend 1977 Crown Coachman 215 egg (Charatan second). Have enough for a couple more bowls. I'm working and listening to David McCullough's audio book The Brooklyn Bridge. I've long wanted to either read or listen to this book, and I got it as an early Christmas present. McCullough's one of the greatest American historians of all time, and one of my favorite writers. Ice water chilled to the proper temperature with historical li'l icebergs is my drink.
Hello. Big huge bowl of Telegraph Hill in an Ashton. It's 70°F here. I think a pretty righteous storm is on the way.
Good evening, everyone. I've settled in by the stove again. I've opened some PS LNF that I jarred in March, right after I joined PSF. This stuff gets better and better. I'm smoking two flakes folded and stuffed side by side in my DGE Brier Nose-warmer. Had it going for over two hours now.
I had been hoping that MDaws79 and Jack Wagon could make it over here tonight, but that's not going to happen. Freezing rain worries, no doubt.
Anyway, I've fallen a little behind again. Won't take me as long to catch up again, though. Puff on! I'm reading the mail.
PS Cube Cut in a GBD Prehistoric apple
Alright....what are you and MentorBV up to?
Happy anniversary to the both of you!
Still PS LNF in my DGE.
