Good morning guys.
SWR in a MM Washington with coffee on the side
Actually it's a MM Legend, sorry for the misinformation
Morning all. 53 in Louisville. Wind still howling but it's not raining sideways anymore. Cold front following last night's nasty line of storms will cool things off again fairly quickly.
Peterson Connoisseur's Choice in a Sav 1611 w/ coffee this morning before daybreak. Picked up a dozen 12 oz jars yesterday to do a little canning before Christmas of some specialty tins and boxes I think are a little suspect long term. IU plays last non-conference b-ball game today, then time for Big 10 conference play. After watching Michigan State yesterday I think they're the team to beat. Some of my GE/5100/Perique blend in game day Pete 312s on tap for the afternoon. Smoked salmon and steamed broccoli in butter w/ iced tea and lemon on the dinner menu.
Enjoy the Sunday PSFers.
Sail Natural in the Peterson System 312
Melorning, everyone. Happy Sunday! I've started off with Carter Hall in my MM Diplomat. Of course I'm drinking black coffee. Maybe breakfast after this. Maybe not. We'll see.
I brought another jar of PS LTF out of the cellar, along with another tin of McClelland's Stave Aged Virginia 35 Ribbon from September 2012. I'm probably going to open the tin later today. Puff on!
Packing some Prince Albert in an MM Washington (I'm sure this time) straight cob
Can't seem to wake up...maybe I should spike it with Five Brothers.
My suggestions: If it is an antique store that is close by to you
1) go back next week and look at the same booth - they might have restocked their cellar - really
2)ask the store clerks to keep an eye out for you and give you a call if more tobacco related items come in
I have no wounds to lick! Mr. Wooly has been rendered irrelevant on the world stage. Anyone that loses his pants and has to party with ageing rockers sans pants runs the risk of being poked in the by the rubber fisted proctologist. No longer will the bartender ask, "shaken or stirred". No, it will be "lubed or unlubed",
I'm starting the day off with Uhle's Perfection Plug Burley in a GBD New Standard 135 Billiard. Black Ethiopian Sidamo coffee as an eye opener.
Happy Sunday Smoking,
Up early after a horrendous night. Lucky Irish tea, morning reading and EMP getting Sunday starting.
Day 2/23 in the work break.
Listing this one a little late but before dinner I smoked an SG Kendal Mayor's Chocolate Flake. Strong coffee on the side while we watched Get Him to the Greek.
Dinner was an amazing chicken and asparagus risotto that the wife prepared.
I only remember the after part . "I'm never gonna drink again".
Already did the second one ... at her suggestion! Oh, I'll be back!
Good morning everyone,
After some housecleaning, I'm now settling down with a bowl of Chief Catoonah's Baileys Supreme - with great thanks to FlatbushPaul! - smoking it in a Stanwell. Big mug of coffee on the side.
Happy Sunday smoking all! Puff on!
Now smoking IRC Old Colonial in an MM Pride bent cob
More coffee as well.
Strange weather here. Thunderstorms last night, and now rain and 66!! degrees (F)....weird for this time of year.
Drinking juice and watching 4th Sunday of Advent Mass on the pc. Smoking 4th Generation 1897 in "The Biltmore" pipe my grand dad left behind. 67-degrees, heading to mid 70's. Teddi has already been out, fed and watered. She is wrapped in a blanket under my feet, favorite toy at her nose, as I type this. Wife has been coffee'd but not fed. Back asleep after serious bi-polar depression attack last night. Holidays are really bad on her.
69*F this morning on a cloudy Sunday morn. Stormy is coming in tonight and hanging around tomorrow. I'm smoking Man's Best Friend in a MM CG and sipping on hot, black coffee. I think I will sit down and relax today with several tobaccos and pipes. Tomorrow we start packing and drive to Miami Christmas day. The warm weather in south FL will aide in getting me into that Tropical Island state of mind (5 days)!
Just starting some Carter Hall in an MM Eaton cob
After that will likely be a Virginia...perhaps SG Best Brown Flake, we shall see.
Raining steadily here and feels like Spring.
ODF in the Basil Meadows. I love this stuff! Part of what I like about this so much is how well it smokes. It needs very few relights, if any, to get through two whole flakes and it produces big billowy clouds of smoke. It's absolutely delicious too!
