Smoking some SLF in a Neerup, listening to the rain dripping off the leaves.

Loaded the very last of the Pirate Kake into the Rekamepip Oyster with the bark still on it (thanks to SillyOldBear for the pipe's new name!) for what should be the last pipe of the night. Does the morning crew still get coffee and donuts when they show up?

Guess all's fair in love and doughnuts when it comes to bears! My work is done for the day, and I'm part way through smoking Alexander Bridge in a light brown 1979 rusticated medium bend Italian Sir Jeffrey Dublin sitter with a flared top and yellow stem. Ice water properly chilled with floaty baby icebergs is my drink. Going to do some reading now.

Woh, woh, woh, let's not be too hasty, there's plenty of time before the morning shift and I'm sure I can steal more donuts from some campers.

    Good, because I'm hungry!

Last smoke before sleep is MacBaren Navy Flake in a 1980s Peterson 314 Full Bend black Sandblast system pipe. I ought to be asleep, but this book I got for Christmas is enjoyable: My Lunches with Orson by Peter Biskind. It's transcripts of Orson Welles and his friend Henry Jaglom talking about all kinds of things and people, much of it not for the PG crowd. Hope they do an audio version of it.

The rim of that pipe looks like you've smoked actual raspberries out of it.

    Day 3/23 in my break.

Not much happening today with the heat being what it was, but I did manage to get a few errands run, including a haircut.

Just finished a bowl of PS Luxury Bullseye Flake in a Pete XL02. Ice cold cider on the side.

A belated happy birthday to you!

Melorning, everyone else. I've started my week with some Carter Hall in my MM Diplomat. I'm drinking black coffee. Puff on!

One last long hard work day, before a couple of days off for the Holiday.
Starting with Carter Hall in the Country Gent. and a boat load of Maxwell House.
    Good day friends!

You should still make them send you a new stem. What if you want to trade or sell it one day? And who the hell makes someone pay return shipping for a defective product? Did you get it direct from Savinelli or from a retailer? Feel free to name and shame.

That being said I really like the colour pairing between the finish and the new stem.

Thanks! That's a Ronson Varaflame that the amazing Rekamepip sent me when I purchased my Rockcob from him.
