@psquared I think that red-cake came from me. It's from an 8oz can of 5100 tinned in 2004 at the now extinct Bufflehead Pipe Shop. I gave some to marker when we got together in San Jose last month. Glad you got a slice!

I can believe that, Marker is sneaky that way. The baggie he sent me did indicate that it was 10 years old. And very tasty. Just one more reason why I need you or addy sir.

Merry Christmas...try not to dance with the wood stove.

Cool pipe John. Is that lighter color stripe a natural part of the pipestone?

Walkabout was a bit treacherous even with creepers on, Levi was sliding every which ways but his nails gave him traction when needed. Smoked Presbyterian Mixture in the Tinsky Cauldron and popped in to pick up some last minute supplies and a King Cut Crown Roast of Pork which will be the main course New Years Day since we pick at Christmas and just sit and reflect rather than making it a big meal day.

Sitting with my Gefapip filled with vanilla Cavendish, enjoying a cup of coffee and looking forward to a house filled with the smells of Christmas baked goods.

Smoking STM in a Trypis twin bore straight billiard and drinking coffee from a big mug. Short day at work today, but I need to finish my Christmas shopping.

Bad day for me to have slept in, lots of cooking to do.
But first I need to wake up fully...and that means a couple more pipes and a lot more coffee.
Up next will be a little Five Brothers. That should do the trick :puffy:

Had pastries this morning from the local Cuban bakery, and the food fest begins. Now on the porch, the Tim Horton mug loaded with strong black coffee, smoking EMP in the Kaywoodie bent apple.

Yes the red pipestone does have variations in color called spirit lines
great little pipe and with the thin wall design it is light and easy to clench
    - smokes just like a clay (hotter than all get out )

I am going to like this pipe !!!

Decided to save the Five Brothers for afternoon, so am now smoking IRC Old Colonial in its dedicated MM Ozark bent hardwood :puffy:
And another cup of coffee on the side.

33 (F) and mostly cloudy here. I'd like some snow for Christmas, but I'll have to settle for just cold instead.
