Aromatic Dutch Slices in a rusticated Peterson Kinsale xl14
Followed by the last bowl of Old Companion (for the truck pouch) in the same pipe
Next up is Sail Yellow in a Peterson African meer Dublin.

    Christmas goose is thawing.
    Dogs are at the kennel.
Christmas Eve homily is mostly in final form. We'll see how the Incarnation preaches this year.
I am about to go down for the count and come up for air in the morning. I head to the office after lunch. We have High Mass with incense, sung Gloria, etc at 11:00 pm with the choir. There is a musical program at 10:30. Family Mass - 5:00 and Misa en EspaƱol - 6:30

Old Dark Fired in the Basil Meadows for me. I got all my Christmas duties taken care of and am enjoying a little time on the balcony with a gin & tonic.

Uhle's 00 over McClelland Red Cake over PPG burley in a Wiley Poker, and wood chopping. Not a clencher. Cadence was "about every three whacks."

Getting to the age where I don't even try to catch up anymore. I was going through one of my boxes of "AHC" (archived and historical crap) material and found the Zippo I got in 2002 when alt.smokers.pipes (remember them?) did a group buy for members. So I filled it up, put in a brand spankin' new flint and set fire to some Christmas Cheer of the 2002 variety in a Mastro. (Earlier I finished some of the same in a Caminetto.) I'm on vacation all this week and daring any and all of my family members to attempt to screw it up for me. They will fail...:snork:

Still smoking His Master's Choice from Georgetown Tobacco, almost down to where it can be pouched, this time in the gorgeous Gamboni. I love how he does just enough blasting that you feel the grain and can still see it, the bit is Cumberland leading to black ebonite with a very comfortable fishtail bit, marvelous smoker.
