"Pocket pals" for today: Tsuge Kaga and a one of my favorite pocket knives. I also usually use matches, but my old Zippo called me out -- must be a ghost of Christmas past, or something....

Thanks to Flatbush Paul, I'm smoking Hamborger Veermaster in a 1980 medium bend black sandblasted Peterson Donegal 805 Bulldog with a silver band. This finishes the trade sample from our pal! Thanks for the smoke, Paul. It's really good tobacco. Hot coffee is my drink, and I'm working today.

Hamborger Veermaster for me too, the last of it. I need to get myself another straight Viriginia ASAP! I've tried so many good ones. It's going to be hard to decide what to pick up.

I'm smoking the HV in my Sav Virginia while I run some errands...fortunately one of those errands is to deposit a few checks!

Actually, just realized I have a tin of Royal Yacht from Secret Santa. That's getting pooped, pronto!

A few moments away from smoking St. James Flake in a small slight bend black sandblast 2000 D.R. Ardor Urano Ninfea Fatta A Mano author with a silver spigot military bit. I've just enough for one more small bowl. The rest of my stash is jarred and aging, sort of like me. ;)

A much needed six-bowl day today (and one small cigar, to boot).

I have really appreciated the down time afforded by the Christmas holiday.

Hamborger Veermaster in a Radice Clear Canadian
Capstan Gold in a Stanwell Apache Bulldog
2 large bowls of Penzance in a Savinelli Author
Stonehaven in a Stanwell Bent Brandy
Red Ribbon in a Bent Falcon Extra/hyperbole

and a Fuente Hemingway Short Story

Back to the salt mines tomorrow!

A beautiful sunny Boxing Day afternoon here in the eastern Fraser Valley,
enjoying a bowl of C&D Bayou Morning in a 1956 Dunhill billiard.
With a nice hot mug of coffee on the side.

Haven't had this for a while - but now I'm in the right mood for some McClelland's 2015 VaPer, packed into the Polinski ROCK.

Yep ---It's a GEC. It has a cap opener secondary. This one was the 2011 or 2012 (can't recall which) "Traditional Forum Knife" (on Bladeforums.com).

Packed some Five Brothers (tightly) into a small MM Eaton cob. Probably should have mixed in some CH, as Five Brothers on an empty stomach can be rather rough for me....oh wait, I can dump it onto the paper plate and start over :)
