Is that Golden Glow about like this???
Smoking a bowl of
This little thin walled pipe really works to the benefit of reminding me to slow down my smoking
to smoke slow enough not to burn my fingers while holding onto the pipebowl.
almost sipping so slow that it is like vaporizing instead of burning the tobacco
After having a stomach flu for the last three days, I finally cooked my turkey today. Just finished and cooling on the stovetop. I'm stumped. Don't know what to smoke. Maybe I'll have some Stonehaven in a briar this time. Yep, Stonehaven in a Wiley Galleon Acorn. Cheers.
Happy Birthday to the smoking slithering Snake. Now smoking Tinderbox Continental 51 aro in a MM Diplomat.
Thanks all for the birthday wishes.
Last smoke on this fine day will be
Ennerdale. In the dedicated Hyperbole.
Just received a gift from my late
grandpa. His estate has been settled,
and true to tradition (he used to give
money out to the grandkids during the
holiday season), I've received my
portion today. He was a pipesmoker,
and smoked SWR exclusively. So, in
honour to him, I'll use the funds to
increase the cellar, which will include
a pouch of SWR. Rest in peace, papaw!
Posting from a few pages back. Had 2 flakes of ODF this afternoon. Now I am on to university flake in the Donegal Rocky.
I was unsure about getting more of this ; but, tonight the flavor is terrific. Guess I will have to now....

DWaugh, smoke the calabash until you start sounding like Basil Rathbone.
Rekamepip. Agreed, that thin walled rock cob is the greatest thing going for getting temperatures under control and discovering flavours in some tobaccos that I'd otherwise never know were there. Thanks again.
FireDance Flake in a black rock cob. Meyer Lemon tea.
Good evening, everyone. I'm finishing off this Carter Hall in my MM Diplomat, which I started this morning before work. Puff on!
Holy moly! Good to see you back around here, Old Codger!

Germain's Brown Flake in the new Peterson 606.
Enjoying a mix of Va scraps (MVF, Union Sq, FVF, Kendal Plug) in a Westbrook saddle bit billiard.
Dunhill flake in a Savinelli. My nightly Wild Turkey on the side.
Great Picture !
Thanks for sharing
Finished the leftover turkey for dinner, and am relaxing a little before I go back to work. Thanks to Flatbush Paul, I'm smoking Chief Catoonah Bailey's Supreme in a 1982 near full bend egg shaped Ascorti Business KS with a black ferrule and saddle stem. A great VaPer and a pipe with a big bowl to savor it in. The last of the Simply lemonade is my drink.
Btw, I saw our Mr. Dust is having a great one day sale on his pipes. Those of you who already own one know what terrific smokers they are, and probably could use another in your collection. For the rest, well, what can I say? Check out this link and get a good deal on a good pipe or two:
Aye Eric, We has our sea legs when the decks be a rollin! It's only when the motion has no connection we feels off balance. We can walk on the bulkheads (walls fer ye lubbers) with nary a mishap, just them infernal video games'll do us in!!
Good evening guys.
Smoking Sir Walter Raleigh in an MM Mizzou cob
Have a great night/day everyone.
I was just informed that you have now earned a "birthday dinner". (Which, I'm pretty sure, is how she baited me into marrying her in the first place. She can COOK.)
So whenever you want to cash that token in, you just holler.
Astley's #44 from '10 in a Sav Opera Billiard with ice tea on the side. Just 4 years have done wonders for this blend. Sweeter and silkier than when new.
