    Happy Birthday Snake.

Smoking some Nightcap in the '78 Dunhill Tanshell. A dram of Glenmorangie 10yo sits beside me.

Good evening folks. I'm spending the day cleaning up and catching up on the hundreds of posts. Sitting at the computer now enjoying FVF in a Ferndown while consuming kippers, tunafish pate and a glass of Guinness. This year I requested only gifts that could be consumed and received: salmon jerky, smoked salmon, stinky cheese (stilton), black licorice, white wine salami, goose pate, four jars of different caviar, a bottle of wine and chocolate w/ bacon. I hope your season of the solstice is going wonderfully.

Busy day running errands and managed to take in the new Hobbit movie. Relaxing now with some Marlin Flake in my Preben Holm Crown with some hot green tea on the side. Back to work tomorrow after a great three days off. Have a fine evening !

    Happy birthday, Snake!

I'm about to try Royal Yacht for the first time in the Sav Virginia. I'm really looking forward to this one.

I am so far behind... apologies to everyone who has posted, I just cant catch up fast enough to read and Like.
I received a Williard for Christmas, its in great shape and doesn't seem to have been smoked very much. I'll find out tomorrow how it smokes, for now its going to sit overnight after getting a quick alcohol swab.
Just a few days left in the year, I hope everyone finishes 2013 in the best of health and with a joyful spirit!

:bday: Snake. Great pic of you and Papaw.

Giving the free hands a break this evening. Have to admit I never expected the kind of performance I've gotten out of them and am still only on half bowls. A credit to their creators Rekamepip and Tim West, masters both. Lovely pipes.

Started with PA in a cob after work and have migrated to 4Noggins Prairie Wind in another cob this evening. Ice tea and lemon my drink throughout.

One more day at work and then five more days in a row off. Enjoy the evening PSFers.

1/2 pint of whiskey soaked the pipe
and ended up going thru about 10 pipe cleaners - just on the stem:beyes:
jeez i guess it was a well used pipe

got good color in that meer

sure hope the even williams/everclear mixture chased off all of the ghosts

Another bowl of Germain's Brown Flake then it's off to bed for me. Snake's picture inspired me to use my grandfather's ashtray tonight. This ashtray (there's a wooden base for it on my bookshelf) sat on his desk for 50 years.
Pardon the huge picture. I've got to figure out this cellphone photo editor...
