I just placed it yesterday and was surprised it didn't ship today.
Good news on the wife front, Eric!
Tonight I'm back at the Elizabethan, of which there are only a couple of bowls left. A serviceable VaPer, but it hasn't made "the list" so far. I might revisit it at some point down the road, but there are so many blends in the "on deck" circle that they are looking to apply for official status with the UN. The pipe is the Julius Vesz I got for my 40th with some Valpolicella on the side.

Glad to hear she is resting and that the future looks good. Enjoy a big bowl.
Chomping down on some Angel Food Cake (70/30 mix of MB Va. No. 1 and Anni Kake) in a freshly reamed and alcohol treated Bjarne Viking ...
This is creamy, slightly sweet, and tangy ... all at the same time. Mouth filling flavor, but nice and light. Anni makes her presence known, though you'd never be able to pick her out in a blind tasting.
Stormy's patience finally ran out, and the rain is falling faster than a roller coaster (to paraphrase Buddy Holly).
Glad to hear the good news, Eric! In honor of the good news, I'm smoking the next to last bowl of this Flatbush Paul trade sample: Compton's Balkan Mixture in a 1949 medium bend Dunhill Shell. More ice water, more work, and more radio shows to listen to.
Had a good day! Finished up and shipped two custom Gilpins. Also shipped out a freehand, a Kirsten freehand bowl, a NOS Medico and a couple of tampers. On the receiving side, the mailman delivered an order of more Algerian and Italian blocks, some ebonite (black & cumberland), plus delrin rods to experiment with on the next round of pipes.
To top off the night, Blue Mt in a 1930's Kaywoodie large breakfast (read that as a medium billiard 4 digit - 4 hole with bakelite stem).
Imagining stories in front of my fire with some Mac Baren ODF in my kaywoodie fine line.
If he would'a left a full compliment of li'l floaties he would'a gotten a couple of Manhattens. If he's gonna short change me then I'm gonna short change him! The lush!

Great News Eric! I will continue to keep you both in my prayers.
McConnell's Scottish Flake in a Stanwell Canadian, sippin' Dickel 12
Moments away from smoking Kentucky Planter in a 2003 smooth Peterson Sherlock Holmes Series Baskerville. More work, more radio shows, more ice water. The only thing that's changed since I posted last, besides what I'm smoking, is that Suzy and Molly are eating tuna. Exciting, aren't we?
Dickel 12 is my favorite sour mash. Very good. Nice pick.
This early morning i fired up some HU D.Cut in a Prince of Wales,
in memory of Frank *21.12.1940 - 4.12.1993
Smoking my next to last bowl of this pouch of Fox and Hound in a 1975 full bend black Dunhill Shell 52021. Quit work for the day, and am going to listen to a couple of Fibber McGee and Molly radio shows on the XM.
Finished the night with MB latakia blend in a castello. Boy, good stuff.
Warm & partly cloudy here this morning. Lots of rain again yesterday. Busy day ahead- I'm flying to the coast tomorrow to spend a week with my kids & still need to get stuff done. Notwithstanding that, I'm having a slow start. FVF in a GBD New Era bulldog is distracting me.
Still up living the pipe life through these posts.. Been in bed the last 2 days with a nasty chest cold. Its been years since ive had one of these. Hopefully I be on the mend tomorrow..Its been fun going back and forth from here and Tobacco Reviews and building a list.
My last smoke before sleep is Man's Best Friend in a 1983 Ben Wade Duo 65 Smooth Poker. No dogs were harmed in the making and smoking of this mixture.
