    Good morning all, I am up and at Em surprisingly early. I did manage to make It through one of two of the SOA episodes last night, then conked out. I made a pot of coffee and am enjoying a cup of the same as I type. Also enjoying this Christmas cheer 2013 that I am smoking in my larsen bent tomato eggish shaped pipe within my garage. Supposed to be a warm day, Albeit a rainy and cloudy one. Temps going into the fifties. I will probably get a lot done outside and in the yard once I get the wife home.

    Foggy and wet morning here in my part of Texas. Dew point very heavy. Smoking a little bit of Tilbury in a meer lined Weber on my second cup of coffee. Just found out we're down a warm body at work. Going to be a fun day. Hope everyone has a fine fine day wherever they may be.

    Melorning, gents.

    Having a bit of a hard start issue this morning. Can't seem to shake this fog. Got a pot of New England coffee hazelnut going. About to fire up the Basil full of dark plug. If that doesn't do it, I'm loading a cob with DFU and trying this again.

    Happy Smoking,

    Hope you can clear the fog enough to enjoy the rest of your week-end, Stick. I'm onto bowl No. 2. The usual PS LTF in my MM Dip. About to take on some complimentary coffee. Puff on!

    Was happy when I got home last night. Care package from P&C was there. Stocked for the winter with pipe cleaners and Dr. Grabow filters. In the package was a new Peterson pipe. Its the Standard System 304, ebony P-Lip. Introduced it to a new tin of Night Cap which the pipe and I fully enjoyed! Of course, enjoyed a good dinner of Veal parm for me and chicken parm for the wife before I fired up the pipe. Teddi was not all that thrilled with the pipe, but she did enjoy a few bites of chicken and veal!

    Fog=lifted.

    Think I'll smoke some Dockworker in the POY. I've been feeling bad for not smoking this thing enough, so I've been reaching for it a lot lately.

    I started the day with some Prince Albert in my first briar, a little black Czechoslovak bent apple.

    I'm anxiously awaiting the arrival of my Basil Meadows pipe. Tracking says it'll come tomorrow, but maybe the postman will surprise me today. I'm trying to decide what to smoke out of it first and was thinking because it's called a Rusticated Mariner, that I'd better smoke some nautical-themed tobacco out of it like navy flakes. But now I'm thinking it might be better to hold off on that and just smoke about five or six bowls of PA through it first to break it in.

    Ok...time to grade the last batch of papers. Can't wait to get these done. Why do I always save the most incomprehensible for last?

    EDIT: Just checked the tracking info again and it's been updated as OUT FOR DELIVERY! YES!!

    The guitar solo that starts around the 2:00 mark reminds me a lot of Slowhand's older stuff. I dig it.
