Well just5042 and I are on the same wavelength here. I am also puffing on some Irish flake that brought to the hospital in quick time. A little too quick, I am finishing it up in the parking garage right now. Then taking the wife home and then working quietly around the house getting stuff done.

Up early to feed Suzy and Molly, who were very happy about it. They ate and then wanted to play ear plug catch with me. We finished a few moments ago, and as we played, I smoked Rekamepip's Pressed October Blend in a 2013 slight bend grain etched briar Rekamepip Volcano with a walnut shank. Going for a new smoke and a new drink in a moment.

Smoking Seatle Pipe Club Mississippi River in a GBD New Standard straight grain billiard. A mug of strong black coffee to start the motor. I have been rationing my small supply of Miss River, since it usually is on back order, but this morning I found that P&C had some in stock so I quickly placed an order. They do not have tins, only bulk, which I find perfect.

Listening to the MLB trade talk on the XM, drinking Simply Orange, and now smoking Alexander Bridge in a light brown 1979 rusticated medium bend Italian Sir Jeffrey Dublin sitter with a flared top and yellow stem. Sure is an uproar in Boston over Jacoby Ellsbury signing with the Yankees.

LNF in the pipe that never sleeps, my Basil Meadows.

If the wife asks why I'm smoking so much today, I'm going to tell her a priest talked me into it.

Morning got off to a better start than yesterday. The care package from P&C yesterday also included a fresh tin of EMP. Needless to say it was cracked open this morning. And packed it in the Dr. Grabow Riviera I bought at the B&M last night. Barbara was so happy that I agreed to take out dinner that she missed the fact I had two new pipes last night!

Have you tried the bulk EMP? As often as I see you smoking it, it may be a cheaper alternative. I know P&C carries it.

I've got one final paper to grade and I'm going to do it with a little bowl of MB Dark Twist in my Jost Regent. Come on, mailman! Get here before I have to go teach!

going to go blow the dust out of garage , polish up the stem and
    call it a year........

( saved a couple little pieces of pipestone to work on this winter - just to keep from getting grumpy )

1 flake of LNF and LTF. 2 coins of LBF and 5 small coins of Newminster Superior round. Rubbed out and smoking a bowl of the mix in a Meer. Just had to try this home made blend out. Liking the flavor profile of it so far. Seems to change a bit between the 4 styles of tobacco every few puffs or so.

Lunchtime. Pelican in a Pete 309.

You're always giving me good ideas, P.

This is my last bowl of the beautiful bird. Thanks to Cpt. Beefheart.

    I'll be buying more.
