Smoking a little bowl of rum flake in a cob. I've been rationing this stuff because I've forgotten to order more the last two times I bought something :bag:

I'm going to have to remedy that before the new pipe gets here. I think I'll be breaking it in with this.

Back home from a long day at work, doing stuff nobody needs... Had to get me another (my second ever bottle) malt. Since I'm starting to develop a taste for Latakia I choose a Islay type this time - it should complement each other nicely. Well, I hope so - whish me luck and good evening all!

Plus, it's a pistol, so you

    More GH Broken Flake
    No.7 in the same Falcon.
    12 year old Bunnahabhain

[IMG] Squadron Leader in a Radice Classic poker is my smoke, while remembering the trip to Red Lake, Ont. The group flew out leaving me a week of solitary pike fishing. I was sick about it, but persevered.

Stonehaven in a 2002 medium bend smooth Rinaldo EGEA 03 Silver line spigot 10. There's a very light fruit taste I never noticed the other times I smoked Stonehaven. Guess that may be the difference from smoking aged stuff and this new batch. Very interesting... and good.

    and burn the same

Since it's all the rage today, I'm smokin some of Stick's 2009 Penzance too in my Nording. I was tempted to fire up the Basil Meadows again, but I'm going to let it rest after the truly sublime smoke I had earlier with the 2005 Dunhill Navy Rolls. That was seriously incredible. I'd say it was easily the finest smoking experience I've had.

Half AND Half in a freshly reamed and alcohol treated bent MM Legend ...

I had a bowl of this in the Legend last night and it was less that perfect. No wonder ... that cob had been hosting a ridiculous range of different pipe blends, from Dan Milonga to Sillem's Green to HH Acadian Perique.

Well, working on the assumption that it's practically impossible to ruin a pipe, I simply gave the Legend a quick ream, followed by an alcohol swab of the chamber and shank with a Q-tip, and a lavish 15-minute rest. The result? It smokes like new ... only better since no breaking-in is required. Even Half AND Half tastes good in it. And that's saying something.

I really love the way these Legend bits darken over time. Looks like the finest Baltic amber from Lithuania.
