I just found a jar of that stuff that I'd forgotten about.

I don't think I've ever even tried it :bag:

    Here goes nothing.

Go for it. A good nic hit and a nice dose of Perique. Every now and then, I just need some!

Mug of black coffee to start the morning, with the Uhles 00 and broken Va flake, blended 75/25 in a GBD Century small pot.

Lord, what a description, I have friends that live northish not far from the Tyne and some at Stoke-on-Trent. I was running around looking here, earlier this morning.https://maps.google.co.uk/maps
Well, hell, that didn't give the street view, sorry. Was on Mill Road looking up at a big glass round building.

Hello. Had some Nightwatch in a much-loved Neerup just a little while ago. I wanted some Ten Russians, but I realized I didn't have any, so the Nightwatch substituted pretty well for it. Good stuff, those Captain Earle blends.

Wet, cold, and windy here. Just like I like it. :)

It's 7 degrees here and I'm buried in work so it looks like no pipes today. Really wish I had a smoking room. I'll smoke vicariously through you all.

Hope everyone has a great day!

I've had mixed feelings about Old Joe Krantz, especially because the smell of it in the jar is really pretty awful to my nose. That said, the smoke I just had was really nice. It was probably the best smoke I've had out of this stuff.

I'm about halfway through a cob full of OJK. This stuff is pretty good. Definitely a nic hammer.

I don't know how I've never dipped into this jar. When I popped it, the perique had built some real funk. It almost smelled fermented. Good stuff.

Glad I've got you bunch of enablers here to talk me into this kinda stuff :p:

I was just commenting on the tin note. I like some good solid perique stank.

Needed more sweetness in my smoke, so it's Sutliff PS Navigator Blend in the second pipe I ever bough, a 1974 three quarter bend black sandblast etched Dr. Grabow Omega. Molly needs more attention, so I'll spread the sweetness to playing "chase the rope" with her.

Speaking of Stank, I got some raw AJ's and Anni Kake yesterday from P&C. Must have been made in the last week, cause it's gonna have to sit about a month to meld some. Man were they ever sharp and I know they both are not usually like that. Must have been a brand new batch to fill there orders for the special they are running.

More tea. This time its Earl Grey. In the Dr Grabow Omega is 4th Generation 1897. Teddi is sleeping in the living room with her favorite stuffed rabbit. Wife is sleeping in the bed room with I don't know what. After being kept awake all night with me and Teddi snoring, she needs her rest!
