First time trying Crossroads in a 1980 medium bend Lorenzo Leganza Sigma 8635 etched rough top. This is one ugly pipe, but at least it's unique.

I've got my bent billiard meerschaum loaded with Stonehaven for tomorrow. And Im going to smoke it regardless of how cold or windy it is. Even if I have to sit in the car to smoke it!

I won't have nearly enough to to enjoy IPSD tomorrow so I'm making up for it today. Winding down with some Newminster SNF in my Sterling Pete Canadian (264).

Hey TedVig, how is the Scottish Flake? I love the Scottish Cake and like the Scottish Blend pretty well, but never had the flake.

I cracked my tin of JackKnife Plug even though it turns out to be the only tin I have of it (I thought I had more)

I've had the Ready Rub before, but not the plug. I'm liking it so far! But I'm smoking it in a CG whose walls I mudded up yesterday (they were burning a bit....never had it happen with a cob before) and I think it may be slightly impacting the flavor

I'd love to post it because it's one ugly pipe, but I'd have to use Photobucket and they just want too much personal info for my taste. If someone who uses PB is willing to PM me their e-mail address, I'll send them a picture they can post, and all of you can have a good laugh.

In the meantime, 1985 MacBaren Navy Flake in a smooth three quarter bend early '70s Stanwell Design Choice 837 sitter. I'm near the last of the sample I got from Flatbush Paul (thanks, buddy!). I wish they hadn't changed the formula since this vintage because this is as tasty as a Navy Flake gets.

Okay. I'll get pics to you either Wed. or Thursday. Thanks. If the pictures hurt your eyes, don't say I didn't warn you!

Now smoking the next to last bowl of this sample of Uhle's 00 (thank you Flatbush Paul) in a medium bend straight grain 2000 Winslow C silver spigot. I've just enough left to fill a cob. And drinking Bubble Up soda. Anybody else here ever drink it?

Golden sliced in Stanwell 126 to celebrate IPSD, possibly marlin flake and remains of original choice later.

Curious thing this pipe smoking, I smoked marlin flake yesterday in this pipe, didn't really taste that good, but in that Rattrays pipe it was excellent. And vice versa, golden slice is very good in Stanwell, but not so much in Rattrays. Possibly the planets weren't aligned
