Looks like I'm going to have time for at least one on my way to campus today... going to be some Best Brown Flake in my paneled l'Anatra lovat. Hopefully I can have one on my way home, too.

Thought I would revisit Sutliff Golden Age this morning. So I loaded up the Brebbia and out to the Garage for a smoke. Seems a little milder that I remember, still an enjoyable smoke but left me wanting something a tad heavier

Well, I gave up on sleeping, so I lit up a bowl of Mohawk River in a 1979 rusticated medium bend Italian Sir Jeffrey Dublin sitter, and brewing hot tea.

Loaded up the rekamepip fruitwood-carved "cob" with the rose swirl Forever Stem full of H&H Victorian Stroll to take the dog out on a walk ... ended up going a lot further than planned. Lovely morning for a nice walk in the woods - we followed the "main" dirt road to its dead end. Doggy ought to nap hard today!

Slowly waking up over here. Gloomy day in Oxford, MS and a test at 3:30.

Waiting for my steak to reach room temperature with a cup of Café du Monde coffee and some Burley.

    Happy IPSDEFG day everyone:byg:

Star of the East in a Savinelli Author. I hope it is from the pain I'm in that have me this splitting headache and not the orientals in the mix because I really like this blend.

I've never had the original, but the match is mighty tasty.

Irish Flake in a Peterson 80s. Even smoking small bowls I don't think I'll get through them all in order today. Irish Oak up next.

Typical where’s the Mayor when you need him :( on his yacht in the Caribbean no doubt :sh:
I had to pay 10 guineas to lay on the Bears leather chaise lounge and be analysed
the verdict was to get back to my normal routine and face the trauma head on
so I opened my Birthday pipe from Mrs Wicker early

after over 30 years with Mrs Wicker as my Bitch wife I still haven’t fathomed females out
it’s like they’re from a different planet :msty: :- last Saturday
Mrs Wicker - “it’s your birthday a week Tuesday, anything you’d like” :cfsd:
Mr Wicker - “Umm? another pipe would be nice” :dh1:
Mrs Wicker – “haven’t you got enough pipes” :cfsd:
Mr Wicker – “I suppose you were thinking slippers” :(
Mrs wicker – “Come to think of it those sock moccasins look tatty” :beyes:
Mr Wicker – “they’re hardly broken in, any way I can’t smoke a pair of tartan slippers with a pom pom on the toe”
Mrs Wicker – “I give up” :shead:

I’m really happy with my pipe collection, but there’s still room in the box
so I had a look on e-bay and hit pay dirt

It landed in 48 hrs. so in honour of a new pipe I opened a new tin of Germain’s Special Latakia Flake :th1:

and tried it out sat on a fold up camping stool in the sunshine while Mrs Wicker was shopping at the supermarket

Fantastic it’s really got an open draw, smokes cool and dry fits my hand like it was custom made and I think looks good
    [IMG]
I've been smoking it all day and am not frightened of Uncle Wobbly Bob anymore

thank you Teddy and Mrs Wicker, never mind the Mayor :th1:
