Wilke #622 in a Neerup bent Danish Dublin thing, my very first "good pipe" (as in, a non-basket briar). One fantastic full English blend. Carole over at P&W is the English blend wizard, in my book. Uhle's for burley, Wilke for English, that's a pretty safe rule for me. I do make a few exceptions, but that formula holds up pretty well. Wilke's Nut Brown Burley is good, but it's no #00 if you ask me.
kithcen sink blend in a cob.
Old Companion in a straight black sandblast undated Savinelli Hercules 115EX pot.
What part of Jersey are you talking about ?
Nice Wade ceramic stand also.
University Flake cradling Hyde Park in a medium IMP meerschaum. Darjeeling tea. Perfect after finishing off a late dessert of sliced banana fried in maple syrup. Freezing fog making visibility less than 10 metres outside. Going to be beautiful when the sun comes up.
My favorite description of it was "Prime rib marinated in diesel fuel"
I'm smoking a bowl of Rum Flake in a Ser Jacopo billiard. It's cold (9F), windy, and snowing to beat hell. Another winter day in the North Country.
Awake again, early and often. So, I'm reading forum posts and smoking MacBaren London Blend in a 2013 MM straight Legend.
Samovar, in a blasted, bent freehand.
Angler's Dream in a smooth 1998 Parker 489 three quarter bend Billiard.
Studying the ins and outs of Title VII +a mouthful of Burley+coffee+aderall=
Yup, the Simpson 260 is one of the classics. This one must be around 50 years old.
Been a busy day of packing for a fly fishing weekend at the coast. Thought I'd better change the fly line on my #8 - it's been there for more than 20 years! (Is that a symptom of fly fishing geezerdom?) Relaxing now with FVF in a GBD New Era billiard.
Stonehaven in a Peterson system 303
A nice treat this morning, Telegraph Hill in the BST Dublin with black coffee.
