PS LTF and coffee, thinking about getting rid of the snowdrift that appeared across my driveway overnight.

Too windy last night to smoke on the way to the train station. Had to wait until I got home. Then it was Bull Run, followed by Royal Yacht, followed By Hot Chocolate. No time for NC.

    Good Morning.
Starting the day with SWR in a Westbrook with hot Community Coffee on the side. This morning I will be driving Miss Daisy to a dental appointment to have her teeth cleaned. That will give me a good hour with my Kendall and a Falcon filled with McC's Virginia Woods while waiting on her. Later in the afternoon it's PT for me and then home to select another pipe and more VA.

Starting today with Gunpowder Green Tea and first pipe Balkan Sasieni. Second Pipe Altadis Irish Creme. That one has to be smoked in a cob or it bites real bad.

Still wake, still smoking. MacBaren Symphony in a straight 2012 Rekamepip made Sugar Barrel pipe. And hot tea. I was talking to a friend on the phone around 6:45 am and complaining about not sleeping. He suggested I drink some whiskey to help me sleep. I said, "At this hour of the morning?" Friend said, "You gotta look at this way. It's almost noon in London."

CH in DGE Lacewood CG, twice last night, on the ride in this morning. This combination won't let go of me. Of course it's all I brought with me (on the road). What the hell am I going to do about the AM pipe when I'm back in the carpool with SWMBO?

Evening Cordial in a Peterson Canadian. illy coffee from a press complements this tobacco in the morning. The result of last night's freezing fog looks amazing under the glow of the yellow bug lights. -12C(10F)H90%

I was hoping to christen a new pipe (fingers crossed I'll have an update later today), but I did get to smoke some 1990 Balkan Sobranie No.759 in a Castello Old Antiquari last night in honor of IPSD.

Thanks, Jon (I think?). It has the added bonus of burning Latakia blends very well... These Castello pipes are so suited to my current favorites that I'll have a hard time not adding another (or three).
