This morning saw me adding 1.5 oz. Germain’s Special Latakia Flake  ,
1 oz. Gawith Hoggarth’s Kendal Balkan Latakia Mix and a half slice of G H Louisiana Flake to my 57 varieties jar, which has a couple of Vanilla pods and a couple of moist Rat Shi* Tonka beans living in it and a piece of broken terracotta plant pot, the other T. bean and round terracotta go in the Doc. Plumb oilskin pouch behind jar.

It’s a Nithering wind here in the Shire, Yorkshire, so we went to stock up with more solid fuel for the stove - front room ambience, house hot water and central heating. Stopped for an Espresso on the way, and the early Birthday pipe
(post #2197) was still getting stick never mind wrapping in silk sock for 48 hrs. after each smoke
the Bears view is a pipes for smoking Tobacco in. :bing: :byg:

Had a walk around settle smoking the 57 burning mix in the early Birthday pipe (Again  ) and spotted a French preserving jar in a junk shop £1, perfect a proper rubber seal, heavy duty wire, no chips cracks and the biggest bonus it’s wider than the modern (china) look alike and I can get my hand into it  , transfered 57 mix when we got home

all's warm and cosy in the Shire

Dark Flake Unscented in a smooth briar calabash shape 1984 Fero Danese made in Italy. I'm getting very low on this stash and will miss it, but I've lots of other stuff to smoke.

First time smoking Kendal Flake by Gowith & Hogarth. Very interesting, love at first bowl!

Oh ya, smoking it in a no name "Made In London England" pipe that's dedicated to Lakeland blends.
