As I continue with the McClelland Virginia #27 today I have stepped up the flavor profile of this fine blend by enhancing it with a cup of Twinings Earl Grey Tea, what a fantastic combination with a sharp, sweet and tangy Virginia tobacco blend...:th1:

I think I just died and went to heaven! Got a generous trade package from Flatbush Paul and thanks to him, I'm smoking Steven Brooks First Smoke of the Day in a brown sandblasted slight bend 1982 Savinelli Non Pareil 99 with a lucite ferrule and stem. This is one heckva smoke!

1792 in a BST Christmas pipe. What a great way to spend a Saturday morning. Tidying up a little, collecting all the pipes around the the place for tomorrow's pipe cleaning routine, and checking out PSF from time to time. Cafe au lait made with goats milk is very weird. +3C(37F)H49%

C&D OJK in a bent cob. He doesn't get any less cranky over time, but he does seem to pick up some depth. My girlfriend likes both the taste and smell of it, so I may be rollin' wit Joe for a while.

From one enjoyable new-to-me smoke to another: Kendal's #7 in a 1970s slight bend black sandblasted Comoy's Silver Cloud 624. Thank you, FlatbushPaul!

Spent much of this Saturday on KP duty. In between cleaning jobs I had two bowls of Bull Run. Then came the Flyers game (a win actually) with pipes of Altadis Irish Creme and Hot Chocolate. All in cobs. Doubt if the later two will see a return visit to my rotation. The Irish Creme bites way too much. The HH just does not do it for me. But all washed down with some really good Kusmi teas.
