Old Companion in a Pete 80s dog. Got home from work, wife had dinner waiting (did I ever mention I married an Angel!) and now relaxing with a good pipe. Life is good.

I had an early morning meeting in Johannesburg - about 40 miles away. I left very early because of a thunderstorm (worried about traffic). Well I sailed through, got there way too early & had time for the pipe I brought with. BBF in GBD New Era lovat. Delightful!

Woke up and couldn't go back to sleep, so I'm taking the Squatch on her maiden voyage with some St. James Flake. Believe the hype, folks. This pipe smokes itself. I have little doubt that this will soon be my favorite pipe.

    Happy Friday,

Still cold here, 3F , and the snow is starting to blow. We're not going to get blasted like those south, west and east of us, but it's still going to be an adventure.

GH Brown Flake, in a Doug Erwin cob.

Started this chilly wisconsin morning out with G&H Dark Birdseye in a DGE olive wood nose warmer spool. I wish I could puff on this stuff all day while at work. Then I would be ignoring my Dholakia black so I guess it's still a win win situation.

Morning all from the shire. Bright day so far - forecast snow at the weekend. Nothing compared to what you guys in the US are expecting though - good luck with that!

Earlier 4N Almosa, then OGS - Falcon straight / Dublin bowls.
Now recovering with coffee after a hard walk along the river, then up & down hills with McB Mixture Flake.
The mug is from a visit to the Jim Clark museum up in the Scottish Borders - from last summer.

Yesterday was a rainy, windy, chilly day not good for outdoor pipe smoking. But, at home finally last night, I got in a bowl of #5100 in my Stanwll bent acorn accompanied by a nice glass of red wine.

This morning it's back to 1Q in a Falcon and coffee. That 1Q has become a friend and I will always have some around.

Well southern Ontario seems to be bracing for snowmageddon, school busses cancelled, schools closed and all the media running Storm Watch features. Sadly the media is making this bigger than it is. Maybe got 3-4 inches over night. I know those in Toronto are not used to this but people it is snow and you live in Canada, this is normal.

Well seeing I am home it will be a good day for the Brebbia and some Golden Age.

    Good Morning PSF,
I'm giving the Squatch Dublin a day off so it's Stonehaven in an Ascorti Signature Full Bent Egg with black coffee for my pre storm ride into work. It sounds like it will be messy later today.

    Happy Smoking,
    Paul

I think I need to come down to Texas to load up on ducks and hogs and have a cooking and smoking session with you.

My parents are actually looking at 30 acres right outside of Dallas to put our horses on. It's already full of hogs, but I'll be building a duck tank and working on a habitat for dove, duck, deer, and turkey. If you're serious and my parents pull the trigger, you're more than welcome to do just that.
