Argosy Black match from P&C in a forever stemmed cob. I have a tin of real Argosy I've been meaning to open. Maybe it's time for a comparison... anyway, this stuff is great!

I realized what I wrote made no sense.
There are 25 color codes. In that set, there are 25 wire ties that correspond to the color code. So in a larger cable, with more than 25 pairs, each bundle of 25 pairs, would be wrapped in a ribbon, to indicate each the sequence, when making a big splice, you would use these ties to replace the ribbons that were wrapped around each bundle. The first bundle of 25 pairs, would have a blue and white ribbon, and would get a blue and white zip tie, and so on. Maybe that makes more sense. I'm not in telecom, I just ended up with the set of wire ties....

It's gone 02:00 Saturday here in the shire (Yorkshire) so just a quick post Germain's Special Latika Flake in a WHC Meerschaum lined Curlyknob Briar and a poor imitation of what used to be a Rocket Fuel Space Cadet Beer in the 1970's back in the "Biker" days, still have a bike but I've given up being a Beer Monster at bike camping Rally's. It's not even brewed in Geordy land anymore, back then it used to be called "Dog" hence "I'm going to see a man about a Dog" I'd call it Horse Piss from now on !

I tried it over a year ago, and it didn't make a big impression. I may need to revisit it now. My tastes have migrated far over into the Lakeland camp.

I just finished up my first ever bowl of GH Broken Flake #7. It's pretty good, falling in somewhere short of Bosun Cut Plug in the strength and flavor departments. For that reason, it probably won't find a home in my rotation, but if you want to dip your toes into the Lake, this would be a good blend to start with.
