New pipe and new blend today, H&H Victorian stroll in my new Petersons Dracula 69.
Is the Dracula as impressive in person as it is in pictures? I want one terribly, but was afraid I'd be let down when it showed up.
St. James Flake in a 2002 full bend egg shaped meer.
I couldn't be happier with it! the one i got (69) is incredible for clenching. The engraving the the silver band is a very nice touch, says "DRACULA" and has 3 tiny bats around it. The bowl is the typical ebony finish (not my favorite normally but it fits this pipe incredibly well). Contrast of the black on red in the stem with the silver P is very nice.
I haven't been upgraded to Chef, but I have been tasked with removing the rice and beans from the burner when the timer goes off.
Smoking some Special Latakia Flake in this Bannard (and as an aside to the posters in the high price pipes thread - you'll notice that the ring on this pipe is actually not just two grooves cut on the bowl, the rest of the bowl has a lesser outside diameter - that means the bowl had to be cut while leaving the ring alone. A time consuming project to be sure, when done by hand. Does it smoke any differently because of it? Of course not, but hold it in your hand and you'll have an idea why some pipes cost more than others.)
and having trouble collecting my thoughts because I'm thinking about Britt Ekland pounding out drum beats on walls......
Maybe next time Jon you will be allowed to put the rice and beans ON the burner, and even set the timer
Very old blu mood and very very old 5 brothers. in a very old cob.
MacB Navy Mixture in a meerschaum (I hear they are made up of dead sea creatures). Watching MASH.
Glad to hear it! The 69 is actually the shape that I was after. I may have to pick one up now. Thanks!
Tastes a little fishy!
