    Good Morning,

Seeing the girls off this morning, they're headed to Maine to spend mid-winter break with family.

GH Brown Flake in a Radice to start the morning off.

Morning PSF'ers, bright and sunny in the Republic of Yorkshire, started the day with a black Lavazza espresso [IMG]
and another resurected clay, this one with a bit of age to it, a pre English Civil War (aren't we due another)
400 years old and still smoking  with Gawith Hoggarth's Louisiana Flake
    [IMG]
back in the day the bowls were small because Tobacco was a high priced, taxed, luxury item (so nothing's new then)
cut a piece of flake and a quick 1/2 rub and a carefull tamp, pencil was just a fit, and did a charring light, the Tobacco then did it's impersonation of a "jack in a box"
by expanding into a column sticking out the pipe, one finger tamp later, lit up for a superb cool 23 minutes smoke, in the sunshine, couple of pencil tamps but no re-lights
    [IMG]

dry to the end only white ash left but for the first time with GH L Flake Vit. N kicked in  soon put right by having breakfast home made bread, toast, and some honey
    then onto peppered soft cheese

    cheers all Wicker Man

Just a remider, the pipe heads are dug from old rubbish tips etc. and repaired with milliput and some 1/8" brass tubing
    [IMG]
and the stems are home grown in the front garden
    [IMG]
and cut to pipe cleaner length and shrink rubber tube applied as mouth piece

    cheers all Wicker Man

Woke up to light snow and hungry kittens. So I made a cup of hot tea and lit a bowl of MacBaren Symphony in a straight 2012 Rekamepip made Sugar Barrel pipe. Then, back to bed! I hope.

    Morning, fellows.

It's pretty cold down here this morning, and that's affecting the moisture content of my smoke. I'm still enjoying it, though.

    Good Morning.

Started the day with CH in a CH dedicated Westbrook with coffee. Temp is 48F and the high to be 55F, strong winds and cloudy all day. Tonight the thermometer drops to the mid 20sF. I've got to go out this morning for an appointment but hope to be home by lunch time and spend the afternoon with some Virginia friends. Old Red Cake is a long time friend and his buddies Virginia Woods and Rich Virginia Ribbon usually come around also. I hope our party is crashed by McC and he brings along #22 and #24. I was expecting them yesterday but they never showed up.

Started the morning off with a MM full of Lane 1Q (First time). A nice smoke. I surely can not wait for the temp to rise a bit. 21 F is a bit cold for the back porch smoke, but it is what I got.

I just fired up a bowl of PS English Oriental Supreme in an Armellini that came to me with a massive Lat ghost and has seen only Lat blends since. It makes a difference in my book.
