Starting this Saturday with Presbyterian in a Peterson. Then had just enough Dunhill Navy Rolls left to fill a small MM cob. The rest of the day will be spent going one by one through my stack of tins and cleaning my pipes.

    Karma indeed (pun intended)
Knock on the door this morning, it’s the post man with an unexpected parcel, my pen friend John, in the USA ,who I met only via my Blog had noticed that I hadn’t featured a Corn Cob so kindly sent me one,

wow aren't they light ! I’ve seen them featured on here and know them from Popeye but this is the first time I’ve ever held one, So in honour of a new pipe I opened a new tin of Germain’s Special Latakia Flake

    Superb ! I’m a convert, sorry DGErwin11. I can’t sit on you knee jpberg’s the jealous type !
I enjoyed it that much I cut a waxed fire log in 1/2 and lit it in the stainless steel cutlery drainer in the front garden,

loaded the Cob up again and sat back with a bottle of Old Speckled Hen. It’s a hard life here in the Republic of Yorkshire

Fired up a bowl of Ten to Midnight. I find it similar to Ten Russians but much smoother in my opinion.

Oh man ! I really like that pipe ! Reminds me of the Kaywoodie 13b . That shape is all class

It's cold out and snowing just a touch . I have to go to the pole barn and load up some more wood in the truck and take it to the wood shed . Then I'll go to the barn and maybe make another birdhouse or just tinker about ... all the while I'll be smoking SG Skiff ... either in an old Marxman or old Whitehall . It's perfect weather for an English blend

Drove back from the city this morning with the BST Christmas pipe burning Peter Stokkebye English Oriental Supreme. Nutty Cut in a Peterson Canadian accompanied by black coffee making for a good start to the day. Need to go and clean the car windows, driving towards a rising sun made the point less than subtly that it's about time. +2C(36F)H67%
