Now that I've had my early morning start with some SWR and coffee, it's time for a more sophisticated mid-morning smoke with Borkum Riff Whiskey...:puffy:

After going through most of my tobacco arsenal yesterday, I decided to start the day with Walnut in one of my large Peterson system pipes. It was so good, I am now on my second in another Pete. Am thinking of making this an all Walnut day. When I don't start off with stronger tasting stuff, its amazing how good Walnut can be.

Still awake dealing with stuff, so I decided I needed something a little stronger than OC. Haunted Bookshop in a straight 2012 MM Pony Express cob.

HH Highland Blend in a legend, Earl Grey on the side. Soon I will be studying frantically. This is the calm before the storm.

    Good morning PSF folk!
It has all the makings of a dandy day out here in the PNW this morning. Not hot, not sub zero cold, and not raining yet.
Half and Half in a Custombilt. I have a half dozen or so of these and while none of them will ever win a beauty contest, they all smoke great.

Peterson Special Reserve 2012 in BST Canadian. The coffee/chocolate notes in this tobacco come through very nicely in this pipe.
Figuring out the chocolate Easter egg order this morning. I like sneaking really good chocolate easter eggs in to odd places in friends' houses. A chocolatier in the city has been accommodating my odd requests including special sizes for a number of years. Having some made that will sit perfectly in a pipe bowl this year. -1C(30F)H80%

Your intrepid reporter, readying himself for a trip into cigar smoking territory. A quick check of my man purse reveals the essentials:

    -Pen
    -Knife
    -Tobacco & Tamper
    -Matches
    -Field Glasses
Oh, and 16 oz. of joint lubrication, it's cold out there. Heading to the stables shortly, stand by for news.
