Topped up the bowl of Hyde Park in a Peterson Canadian that I put down yesterday, with Essence of Vermont. Black coffee.

Woke up to feed Suzy and Molly and am wide awake, so I lit up a bowl of Old Companion in a 1978 smooth pointy bottom three quarter bend Sir Brent, shaped like a check mark. I notice that when I smoke this particular blend, Molly seems to hang around me more than usual. She must like this tobacco. She does like to attack the smoke rings I make.

My taste buds are acting weird. Smoked nothing but Walnut last night. And that's after stopping by the B&M and buying a new tin of Mixture 965! All but 3 cobs are clean. All briars clean and waiting for me.

BTW, for those of us in the frigid zone, I'm finding that Christian Bros brandy goes well with Walnut, and I suspect its good with CH.

Freed from the NO SMOKING ON PREMISES condo, Miss daisy and I returned home last evening. I enjoyed a Falcon filled with XH on the ride home. We had a great time in Panama City Beach when not at the condo. Ate a lot of seafood and got in some outdoor pipe smoking in restaurants with outdoor seating. Temps were in the upper 60sF during the sunny daytime, so outdoor for a drink and pipe was nice. Last night I enjoyed some Bear Blend in a slightly bent Sav Trevi with nice Merlot. Today I will look at some unopened tins and find something new to try. Oh, I have been neglecting the #5100 for a while so I better get it out as well.

    Have a great day all.

First time smoking one of the GW Sims pipes I bought a while ago. Filled it to the brim with Carter Hall. Goodness me this is a sweet smoking pipe. One of these days I will get around to taking pictures of the pipes I have not yet sold and list them for sale on here.
