Ennerdale seems pretty intimidating, for one.
Ennerdale rocks! It's like smoking a Juicy Fruit (gum) bouquet. Smoke it next!

I've heard Erinmore compared to Juicy Fruit plenty, but I think you're the only one I've heard refer to Ennerdale as being similar to it! I personally don't see that at all, but there's no accounting for things like that sometimes. It's pretty decent stuff though
I just popped a little pouch of Camel "Winterchill" snus in my lip because I'm sick and the doctor recommended avoiding smoking if possible until I get better. I wish that I could find some decent Swedish stuff here in town, but there is none, so I have to make do with Camel...it's at least better than Marlboro snus, and Skoal snus really isn't very good...and I still like it (generally) better than dip, and I can't find my favorite chewing tobacco round here so....this is what I'll be sticking with for a few days, until I can't take it anymore!
In my imagination, though, I'm gently puffing on a bowl of Odessa in my new Missouri Pride.
Haven't even smoked a single bowl from it and I got it yesterday. For shame!

Woops! Just sent you some.
Hope you like it well enough.
Well, hubby got me a tin of Erinmore Flake in one of today's boxes, so I'll be able to better compare once I pop it open and give it a try too.
lost count of how many cobs had a pelican fly into them today. Yep, good day in the field
I had just ordered it on a whim with my last H&H/P&C TAD of the month/year ... it finally arrived this afternoon. It reminds me a bit of Glengarry, though Glengarry seems a bit "brighter" in flavor and a smidge sweeter. I need to get to the post office very soon ... I also am mailing out a little present for Goat. Oh, and a new victim has come forward for some of the Pumpkin Cheesecake!

There's almost no similarity between them, in my opinion, but they're both good in their own right!
Closing the day with Erinmore Flake in a Dunhill Shell 1/4 bent pot.

I think that would be the exact opposite of "easing into" Lakeland blends
Out with friends all day long, so I'm behind in my smoking. I'm nearly finished smoking MacBaren Old Dark Fired in a small 1982 medium bend CAO Meer with a Turk wearing a turban. Next will be my first try at Angler's Dream, which I'll smoke in a pipe my wife bought for me in England:a smooth 1998 Parker 489 three quarter bend Billiard.

Well , I 'm heading to the porch for a bowl of Sutliff CD blend which is one of the outstanding stellar blends . Before I smoke this stuff I always get a little giddy ... I'll write a detailed review of this blend one day but it's a tuff one to put in words . It's quite warm outside [ 50 degrees ! ] So I'm taking my way old carved hand holding bowl briar pipe , the one with the horn stem .... it's sick , in a good way ! I smoke CD blend in it any more and thats about it . I honestly think the CD blend is better than the HOW Country Doctor by a mile ! The aroma from the pipe is mind bending ... oh man , I love this stuff and I shouold smoke it more often . What a pipe ! Middle row 2nd one down
